Job description

ControlUp is a leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX), evolving IT operations with agentic AI to deliver Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and a digital workspace that runs itself. Our platform transforms millions of real-time signals into intelligent action, bridging the gap between deep visibility and automated remediation. We turn "IT headaches" and employee frustration into self-healing operations, allowing organizations to move beyond reactive troubleshooting toward a future where technology works seamlessly in the background. We’re here to ensure the workday runs without disruptions. No tool sprawl, no wasted time, and no friction. Just technology that works for people, not against them, so they can stay focused on what they do best. One platform. One powerful shift in how work flows. About the Role: We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our amazing global HR team. The ideal candidate will provide support to our high, mid, and junior-level management, employee relations, and performance management, and be a significant part of the recruitment process. This role will execute different HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. What You’ll Own: Serve as a strategic HR partner to GTM leadership (senior, mid, and junior), ensuring HR strategy is well-structured, locally relevant, and aligned to business goals across regions. Advise, coach, and guide GTM managers and employees on complex employee relations matters, performance management, and organizational challenges, with sound judgment and the confidence to push back when needed. Own and administer HR policies and processes, ensuring consistency across a global, multi-entity organization while remaining sensitive to local labor law and cultural context. Apply working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance considerations across multiple jurisdictions to guide managers and mitigate risk. Drive end-to-end recruitment for GTM roles: partnering with hiring managers, aligning on hiring priorities, and leading candidate and offer negotiations through to contract. Own the full employee lifecycle for the GTM population, from recruiting and onboarding, through development, engagement, and internal mobility, to offboarding, with a strong focus on experience at every touchpoint. Bring energy and presence to our Fort Lauderdale office 3 days a week, working in person with the local team while staying closely connected to a distributed, global HR function. Thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and constantly evolving environment, comfortable holding ambiguity and driving structure where it’s needed What You’ll Bring: 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience within a high-tech/technology company, ideally supporting a global or multi-site organization. Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success functions is a strong plus. Solid working knowledge of HR policies, processes, and best practices, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in a fast-scaling environment. Working familiarity with US employment law and general awareness of how HR practices differ across jurisdictions. A proven track record advising, coaching, and guiding managers and employees, and being seen as a credible, trusted voice in the room. Hands-on, end-to-end recruitment experience. The ability to influence and advise business leadership with confidence and clarity, even in ambiguous or sensitive situations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A relevant Bachelor’s degree. Comfort working across time zones, cultures, and organizational layers in a global, fast-growing company.
