Job description

About Vertical Insure Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid - in office Tuesdays and Thursdays) Vertical Insure is the leading embedded insurance platform built for vertical SaaS platforms. We offer customized insurance options tailored to each business and its customers, adding value and creating new growth opportunities without extra overhead. Our approach is simple: we are removing the burden from buying insurance by embedding it into our partners’ existing product flows, making financial protection effortless and timely. We are looking for an Events & Campaign Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Growth Marketing Manager. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of event operations and marketing campaign execution. Our Minneapolis office operates on a hybrid model, with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At this time, we’re only considering local candidates. Why This Role Matters The Events & Campaign Marketing Specialist will coordinate the moving pieces behind our trade shows and events, and build the HubSpot campaigns that support them; emails, UTM, forms, and workflows from plans and briefs set by our marketing team. What you own is making sure every event and every campaign actually comes together accurately, on time, and on brand. What You'll Do Event Operations • Plan and execute trade shows, webinars, virtual/in-person events — owning logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination. • Coordinate on-site event logistics: booth services, shipping, registration, and signage. • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for event vendors (venues, printers, caterers, shipping) within budget guidelines set by your manager. • Order and manage promotional materials, collateral, and event giveaways/inventory. • Manage post-event follow-up: entering and routing leads in the CRM, launching nurture sequences, and tracking performance in partnership with sales and marketing leadership. • Measure and report on event results; attendance, leads generated, and overall impact. Campaign Execution in HubSpot • Build and execute marketing campaigns in HubSpot from creative briefs and campaign plans; segment contacts lists, emails, UTM’s, forms, and workflows. • Tag and organize campaign assets in HubSpot's Campaigns tool so results roll up correctly. • Schedule and publish approved social media posts promoting events and campaigns. Marketing Operations & Content • Maintain the event and campaign calendar, keeping documentation accurate and status updates flowing across teams. • Track invoices, process vendor forms, and handle related administrative requests. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align event and campaign activity with pipeline goals. Who You Are • Hands-on experience with HubSpot required — building campaign structures, emails, landing pages, forms, UTM, and workflows. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. • 2-4 years of marketing, campaign, or event-coordination experience; relevant internships welcome. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and shifting priorities. • Strong written communication and proofreading skills. • Comfortable coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to keep projects moving. Experience That Goes the Extra Mile • Experience in fintech, insurance, or vertical SaaS industries What We Offer The estimated base salary for this role is: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on the level of experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, flexible PTO, 401(k), paid parental leave, and more.
