Job description

Company Pace is the AI operations partner for the world's leading insurers. We combine the speed of AI agents with expert review by our insurance operations team to automate insurance tasks. Almost $400bn per year is spent on outsourcing in financial services every year. We're here to change that, working side-by-side with some of the largest companies in the world. Role We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager in New York City to create pipeline and deepen relationships with the world's leading insurers. You'll turn field events, conferences, and VIP events into measurable commercial outcomes across the US. We're open to an ambitious field marketer, creative producer, or former BDR who understands how to create commercial momentum and wants to build the field function, not inherit a finished playbook. What this looks like in practice: - Own field programs end to end: Develop the strategy, audience, experience, budget, production plan, promotion, and follow-up for conferences, executive dinners, roundtables, VIP experiences, and Pace-hosted events. - Create and accelerate pipeline: Partner with sales on account selection, invitations, meeting goals, and follow-through. Set clear targets and measure sourced and influenced pipeline, not just attendance. - Approach experiences with craft: Treat every touchpoint as part of the Pace brand, from the concept and guest list to the room, content, and post-event experience. - Be a trusted partner to Sales: Bring structure to fast-moving teams, hold owners accountable, and keep complex programs moving without losing sight of the commercial goal. You're a great fit if you: - Have 4+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, creative production, sales, or another role requiring strong commercial and operational ownership. - Think like a revenue marketer: you start with the accounts and outcomes, then design the program. - Are exceptionally organized and can coordinate across sales, executives, vendors, partners, and vendors. - Move easily between strategy and execution, from building the annual field plan to fixing a seating chart or booking a last-minute meeting onsite. Bonus: - Experience marketing or selling to insurance, financial services, or another regulated enterprise industry. - Experience as a BDR, account executive, or in another customer-facing commercial role. - Experience in creative production as well as traditional field programs. - An existing network among US insurance executives, industry partners, conference organizers, or relevant communities. Team characteristics The Pace team has a couple of defining characteristics: 1. Integrity: The most important thing is working with good people who want to have a massive impact on the world. Our team genuinely wants to do the best work of their careers and know it’ll take 5-10 years of focus to deliver. 2. Ambition: The ambition for this company is not just a good vertical AI business but a $100bn+ outcome across vertical services. We’re looking for people that rise that level of ambition. Often times this means they want to be the best at what they do, become leaders at scale or one day start their own company. Pace will be the best place to learn, deliver impact and advance your path to do something great. At Pace, we're building a talent-dense team where teammates grow into leaders. This might mean growing into a world-class IC, owning a line of business, or leading teams. Whichever your path, we want to support you to grow at Pace and beyond for the long-term. We're a <40 person team based in-person across New York and London and are lucky to be perfectly positioned with leading customers and top investors to make a real impact on one of the largest industries in the world.
