Sales Engineer at Sentra

Job description

Description Sentra is the AI Data Readiness platform for enterprises deploying AI at scale. Sentra continuously discovers, classifies, and governs sensitive data across cloud, SaaS, data warehouses, and AI environments - giving security teams complete visibility into what AI systems can access, what they can expose, and where compliance violations exist. Unlike alternatives that copy data to vendor clouds or require customer-managed outpost infrastructure, Sentra provisions ephemeral scanners directly inside the customer's environment, delivering petabyte-scale classification at a fraction of the cost. Trusted by Lyft, SoFi, Munich RE, PennyMac, Glovo and others. Responsibilities • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle, from architecture reviews to deployment and troubleshooting. • Demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of Sentra's products and services. • Collaborate closely with the product team to provide insights from the field and influence the product roadmap to better meet customer needs. • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic plans for achieving sales objectives. • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to drive customer satisfaction and retention. • Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and sales strategies. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, in the cybersecurity or data management industry. • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure), as well as DevOps tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Deep understanding of data security principles and technologies. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and data security/privacy requirements - an advantage.
