Job description

THINK DIFFERENT. BUILD THE FUTURE. 🚀 OUR MISSION Build everyday AGI. Trustworthy, consumer-grade agents that redefine human–AI collaboration for millions. Software shouldn’t wait for commands; it should partner with you, amplifying what you can do every single day. WHY AGI, INC. We’re a stealth team of elite founders and AI researchers, with backgrounds spanning Stanford, OpenAI, and DeepMind. We’re industry leaders in mobile and computer-use agents, bringing these capabilities to consumer scale. Grounded in years of agent research, our AI is designed with trustworthiness and reliability as core pillars, not afterthoughts. We are supported by tier-1 investors who funded the first generation of AI giants; now they’re backing us to build the next: everyday AGI. (Watch the demo drive.google.com) If you see possibility where others see limits, read on. ABOUT THE ROLE You'll be the design voice on a tiny team inventing how millions collaborate with autonomous agents. From blank canvas to pixel-perfect launch, you own the craft. This is not a support role. You'll sketch a concept at 9 AM, prototype in Figma by lunch, and user-test by dinner. You'll pair directly with researchers and engineers, fusing breakthrough models with world-class interaction design. You'll focus on clarity, trust, and delight — ensuring every flow, animation, and interaction moves users from curiosity to reliance. WHAT YOU'LL DO Draw the future: Sketch a concept at 9 AM, prototype in Figma by lunch, user-test by dinner. Own the full arc from blank canvas to shipped product. Make magic visible: Translate complex agent behavior — memory, intent, action history — into UI so intuitive it feels inevitable. Craft end-to-end journeys: Map flows, wireframes, hi-fi mocks, and interactive prototypes that hide complexity behind elegance. Prototype at lightning speed: Monday: idea. Tuesday: interactive demo. Wednesday: user feedback. Thursday: refined build spec. Champion the user: Run guerrilla tests, A/B experiments, and analytics reviews to turn pain into joy — fast. Design for trust: Visualize agent reasoning, decision-making, and action history so users always feel in control. Set the standard: Establish design systems, accessibility guidelines, and brand voice that every future hire will follow. Sweat every millisecond: Animation, micro-copy, haptics — nothing ships until it delights. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years crafting digital products end-to-end, with a portfolio that marries beauty and usability - Proven experience designing AI-powered or data-rich experiences - Mastery of Figma and interactive prototyping tools - Taste level that rejects awkward clicks, dead pixels, and inconsistent motion - Love for in-person collaboration; ready to build in SF PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience designing agentic or autonomous AI interfaces - Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent design tools - Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for rapid prototyping - Experience with motion design, haptics, or micro-interaction systems - Track record of designing consumer products used by millions WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Great agents need great design. If it doesn't feel effortless, people won't trust it. If they don't trust it, they won't use it. You will define how millions of people see, understand, and rely on autonomous AI — the flows that build confidence, the interactions that create habit, and the details that separate magic from gimmick.
