Job description

OUR MISSION Rebuild how the world works, to make institutions work better for the people they serve. ABOUT BRAIN CO. Brain Co. builds AI-native operating systems for large, regulated institutions. Each system is built for a specific industry, powered by agents that push real workflows forward. Underneath it all is Atlas, our proprietary platform that keeps customers in control, secure by design, and never locked into one model. WHY NOW Brain Co. is entering its next phase of production deployments on a national scale with an elite team built from Palantir, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, and a growing footprint across government, insurance, health, and financial services. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead end-to-end design efforts, including UX research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and testing. - Experiment with new AI design tools like Lovable, v0, and more to define how Product Design’s function on product teams is changing. - Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into elegant, intuitive solutions. - Design sophisticated software experiences tailored for enterprise and governmental environments, prioritizing usability, scalability, and aesthetics. - Help establish and evolve the design system and guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all products. - Advocate for the user, continuously seeking insights and data to iterate and refine our product experiences. QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of professional experience in software product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating elegant solutions for complex enterprise software. - Proven experience designing visually appealing, workflow-oriented products that significantly improve user productivity. - Exceptional skills in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Rive, Framer). - Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and accessibility standards. - Experience working collaboratively in fast-paced, agile, and multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale. - Prior experience in AI-driven or data-intensive software solutions is a significant plus. WHY JOIN US - Ship quickly, iterate constantly and see your work deployed at global scale - Collaborate with industry veterans from Airbnb, Apple, Google and more - Accelerate your career with ownership based on impact, not tenure - Earn competitive compensation + meaningful equity in a high-growth company - Thrive in a culture built on speed, curiosity, and impact If you want to see your work deployed at scale with real impact, Brain Co. is the place to build.
