Solutions Engineer at Verifiable

Job description

About Us: Verifiable is a provider credentialing and network monitoring platform, delivering industry-leading AI, API and Software solutions to help healthcare organizations optimize operations at enterprise scale. We are a top Salesforce partner, winning the 2024 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award, and also were named to Inc. 5000 2025, the most prestigious ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies. We work with leading healthcare organizations such as Humana Dental, Talkspace, Headway, Empower Pharmacy, and many others. We're a fast-moving, early-stage team that values impact, ownership, and follow-through. Everyone here rolls up their sleeves, dives into ambiguity, and takes end-to-end responsibility for meaningful work. Priorities shift, problems aren’t always perfectly defined, and we move with urgency so we look for people who are energized by hard problems, rapid learning, and stepping in wherever the team needs support. We’re collaborative and human, but we keep a high bar. If you thrive in a scrappy, high-ownership environment where your work directly shapes the company’s trajectory, you’ll feel right at home here. About the Role This is a new role on the Engineering team, created to own the API layer end-to-end.. You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Implementation, and Support: brought in early on API and web app deals to scope feasibility, owning SOW review for API/web app implementation scope, and serving as the go-to API expert for Support when tickets need deeper technical context. API customers are among our highest-retention, lowest-support-load accounts, and this role exists to protect and grow that. You're a technical, client-facing professional who's comfortable being the person in the room translating between a customer's integration needs and what our platform can actually do. You don't need to be a deep backend engineer — what matters is that you can read and reason about an API, scope an implementation honestly, and communicate clearly and confidently with clients throughout a sales or implementation cycle. You're a self-starter: this role isn't fully defined yet, and you'll help shape it as you go. Key Responsibilities Get involved early in the sales process on API and web app deals to assess technical fit and scope Own SOW review for API and web app implementation scopes Support the implementation of API and web app customers Serve as the escalation resource for API-related Zendesk tickets, closing the current API knowledge gap in Support Act as a resource for upselling and solutioning conversations with existing API customers Coordinate across Sales, Implementation, Engineering, and Support to keep API-related commitments visible and on track Qualifications 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales role in B2B SaaS Working familiarity with APIs and integrations — able to scope integration requirements and speak credibly to technical stakeholders, without needing deep backend engineering depth Experience scoping or reviewing statements of work (SOW) with clients Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable being customer-facing from day one Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a role that's still being defined Customer-retention minded — sees API customers as a relationship to protect, not just a ticket queue Self-starter, able to bring structure to a role without much existing precedent Strong cross-functional communicator; equally at ease with clients, sales, and engineers More About Verifiable: In just five years, we’ve grown to nearly 150 people, and we’re not slowing down. Strong, steady revenue growth helped us land a $27M Series B led by Craft Ventures, bringing our total funding to $47M. Our latest launch, CredAgent, brings autonomous AI agents to healthcare credentialing for the first time. Join us as we keep scaling! Benefits & Perks: Health that’s got your back: we invest in your coverage, with options for you and your family's needs. Unlimited PTO : flexible time off built on ownership. We trust you to plan ahead, own your deliverables, and make sure your team is set up for success while you’re out. Own a piece of what you build: startup equity means you share in our success. Work from anywhere: we’re fully distributed, and you can work from home in one of our eligible US states. New Apple setup: a company-issued MacBook and accessories are yours to work on. Heads up that we’re Mac-only, since our systems are built for macOS. Modern tools: Google Workspace, Notion, and company-wide AI tools like Claude for seamless collaboration and to help you work smarter.
