Job description

Greenlight is a family technology company on a mission to help families raise financially smart kids and navigate life together. Its suite of products — including the Greenlight app, debit card, Safe Family GPS trackers, and Family Hub — brings together financial tools, safety features, and everyday family management in one connected experience. Designed for busy families who want convenience without compromise, Greenlight continues to innovate alongside the evolving needs of modern life. Today, more than 6.5 million family members trust Greenlight to stay in sync. At Greenlight, we're here to make the day-to-day easier and futures brighter, so families can spend less time managing life, and more time living it. That's why we get out of bed every morning. Greenlight is looking for a Senior Content Creator who is, first and foremost, a creator. Someone who can spot a trend in the morning, be on camera by lunch, and have it posted before the moment passes and who also knows how to zoom out and build the strategy that makes those posts add up to growth. This is a hybrid creator-strategist role. You'll own Greenlight's organic social and influencer programs end to end: setting the strategy, writing the plan, and also making some content yourself. You're comfortable being the face in the videos, shooting on your phone, editing in-app, and getting something good out the door fast without a production crew. We're looking for someone with a real track record of growing accounts organically. If your best work came from scrappiness rather than spend, we want to see it. You day to day: Create original social-first content — including appearing on camera — across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Shoot it, edit it, post it. Monitor culture and platform trends daily, and move fast on the ones that fit Greenlight. Real-time trend jacking is a core part of this job. Own and execute the content social strategy: audience, platform mix, content pillars, posting cadence, and growth targets for both parents and teens. Manage the multi-channel organic content calendar (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn), with a steady pipeline of fresh ideas, formats, and tests. Direct the influencer and creator program: sourcing, briefs, content approval, and relationship management. Lead the UGC program with the growth team for organic and paid to source and boost high-performing content for paid social. Serve as the primary point of contact for external social and influencer agency partners, directing their work against your strategy. Contribute to product marketing and brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with product marketing, CRM, brand, creative, growth, and partnerships. Strengthen customer service communications so Greenlight shows up well in comments, DMs, and replies. Own social reporting and analytics; share learnings and continuously optimize what you make. What you'll bring to the team: 6+ years in social media, with meaningful time spent as a hands-on creator — not just directing others. Portfolio or reel required. Proven organic growth. We want to see the accounts you grew, the numbers, and how you did it. Genuine comfort on camera. You can host, talk to the lens, and carry a video yourself. Strong video skills end to end: shooting on a phone, editing in CapCut or similar, writing hooks, cutting for retention. Deep platform fluency, especially TikTok and Instagram. You understand the algorithms well enough to make bets and explain them. Demonstrated ability to turn a cultural moment into a post the same day. Understand audiences for Greenlight, push and grow our reach in social. Experience building and running influencer or creator programs. Experience managing external agencies is a plus. Experience with consumer brands, or speaking to an audience of parents and teens, is a plus. Who you are: A creator at heart. Making things is the part of the job you'd do anyway. Comfortable and natural on camera, and willing to be a recognizable presence on Greenlight's channels. Fast. You'd rather ship something good today than something perfect next week, and you know the difference between the two. Scrappy and resourceful. You've made a lot out of a little and you're proud of it. Strategic as well as hands-on. You can defend a content plan in a room of marketers and then go shoot it yourself. Plugged into culture — you know what's happening on the internet this week and you have a point of view on why. Able to work and react quickly in a real-time environment, with the judgment to recognize and escalate sensitive issues. Detail-oriented with an eye toward quality control. Passionate about consumer brands, especially those serving families. To Apply: Please include a portfolio, reel, or links to accounts you've grown. We care more about what you've made than where you've worked. Not sure this one's for you? Don't count yourself out. Show us what you've got and we'll reach out if there's a great fit. Our stance on salaries: Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive. The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $125,000- 145,000 The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $142,000- 135,000 Who we are: It takes a talented team to aim for a mission like ours. We're looking for people who ask "is it bold enough?" People who bring their real selves to the table and push the people around them to do the same. We win by never hesitating to jump in, offer a hand, or share the credit, because we know we're stronger together than apart. And through all of it, the mission stays the thing we measure ourselves against: are we doing right by the families counting on us? If that sounds like your kind of team, we'd love for you to apply.
