Position Overview
E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP IQ Database Consultant to serve as technical lead for the IRS Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW)--a 10-petabyte enterprise data warehouse. You will provide technical leadership, mentoring , and strategic direction for database administration, data integration, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to DBA teams and developers.
• Develop and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, and governance practices.
• Administer SAP IQ databases (Simplex/Multiplex) at enterprise scale.
• Design logical/physical data models and optimize database performance.
• Oversee ETL processes using SAP Data Services .
• Provide incident response, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders and multiple CDW contractors.
• Engage effectively with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience
• 15+ years progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise database environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and training .
• Experience developing and enforcing technical standards and governance practices .
• Extensive experience with SAP IQ products and SAP Data Services (ETL) .
Certifications
• SAP IQ Database Certification (preferred).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Security
• Must be eligible for IRS Staff-Like Access.
• U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency.
• Federal tax compliant.
Additional
• Company must be an Authorized SAP Partner .
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Experience with 10+ petabyte enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience with SAP Sybase IQ in a multiplex environment.
• Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows.
• Experience with SAN, remote mount points, file shares, and DAS.
• Knowledge of IRM security and compliance requirements.
