The System Engineer will have experience in System Administration Automation, management and security compliance. Candidate must focus on maintaining system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments, demanding strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidate must be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer. Qualifications • Six (6) years of systems engineering experience • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university. OR • (U) A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area). OR • (U) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR • (U) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience. Required Skills • Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience • Strong knowledge of Security Compliance • Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista) • Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky) • Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization • Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services • Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching • Communication and escalation of issues to management *(U) Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
