Job description

About Us Dorsia is at the forefront of hospitality-tech innovation, redefining how the world gains access to the most in-demand restaurants, events, and experiences. By fusing cutting-edge technology with the art of luxury hospitality, we empower our members to secure impossible-to-get reservations while providing operators with unprecedented levels of control, visibility, and revenue optimization. In 2025, we grew revenue 480% and scaled to 400+ venues across 25 destinations, with the launch of our Culture Calendar extending Dorsia beyond restaurants into the world's most sought-after cultural moments. Backed by $54M in funding from investors including Index Ventures, Invus, and Red Sea Ventures, and strategic partners including MoonPay, Major Food Group, and The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud, we are entering our most consequential phase of growth and reshaping the global hospitality landscape. We're adding exceptional talent to drive what comes next, and that's where you come in. About the Role Dorsia is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive the execution of our digital product experience across our digital presence. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an AI-native designer who takes major features from first concept to ship, prototyping in working software rather than static mockups. The strategy is set. We need someone who can turn it into a working product at a level of polish worthy of our members. The pace is fast and the volume is high, with several major features in flight at once, and AI tooling is how we sustain that pace without sacrificing craft. What You’ll Do Design Execution & Craft Design major features end to end, moving from first concept through launch alongside product managers and engineers. Work at a high level of fidelity from the start, delivering approval-ready designs rather than rough passes. Perfect the micro interactions, transitions, and haptic details that make a product feel considered and premium. Produce a high volume of high-quality work within the design framework set by our Senior Designer. Rapidly iterate on new features, using AI tools to absorb feedback and turn it around without losing momentum. Product & Systems Build out user flows, interaction patterns, funnels, and design system components across our digital presence. Audit existing flows with an eye toward information architecture, simplifying and sharpening the member journey. Balance refined UI with pragmatic UX, always moving members from intent to action with the least friction. Advocate for the luxury member in every product conversation, grounding design decisions in data and qualitative insight. AI-Native Prototyping & Code Treat working prototypes as your primary design medium, using AI design and coding tools to test ideas in real software from day one. Compress the distance from concept to interactive build, moving in hours rather than weeks and putting real product in front of the team early and often. Work directly in the code with engineers, reading and producing it with AI coding tools to ship what you design. Partner with growth and product teams to keep design intent intact from Figma through implementation. Push our AI toolkit forward, experimenting with new tools and workflows and raising the bar for how design gets built at Dorsia. The Winning Recipe Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. 7+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, including meaningful tenure at a company known for the quality of its design. An AI-native builder with demonstrated experience shipping working software through AI design and coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, v0, or Lovable, where prototyping in code is your default mode rather than an occasional experiment. A portfolio of large, complex features owned end to end, with award-caliber interactive work and a strong focus on mobile. Deep command of interaction design, information architecture, and design systems, with an obsessive eye for micro interactions. Experience designing for international audiences across markets and cultures. An instinct for qualitative insight, building conviction through taste and direct observation rather than surveys or A/B tests. Expert proficiency in Figma and genuine comfort reading, writing, and shipping code alongside engineers, with AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow. A low-ego, high-output designer who thrives in the weeds, treats no detail as too minor, and raises the bar with every release. Experience in luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus. Compensation: New York Pay Range $140,000 — $170,000 USD Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization. In-Person Matters We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia. Who We Hire We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard. Lifestyle Hours We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party. High Performance Culture Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember. A Final Word We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.
