Job description

WHY JOIN IVO? Contracts are the oldest business technology in human history. They allow us to collaborate: they define what we promise each other, how we work together, and what happens when things go wrong. Ivo builds AI products that helps companies like Meta, Uber, IBM, Intel, DoorDash, Mitsubishi Electric, and Coinbase solve their most difficult contracting problems. We think that large language models have created an opportunity to fundamentally change how businesses collaborate with each other. At Ivo you will work on challenging problems with colleagues who have high standards for each other, move fast, and care deeply about their craft. WHY JOIN IVO? Every civilization runs on the same infrastructure: agreements between people who don't fully trust each other. Sumerians pressed them into clay. Romans carved them into stone. We bury them in 80 page PDFs. The way those agreements are reviewed hasn't changed in four thousand years, a human reads the whole thing and tries not to miss anything. We're building the AI that finally changes that. Ivo is the contract intelligence platform of choice for companies like Uber, Meta, Canva, Intel, IBM, and Shopify. We recently raised our Series B and have grown 800% over the last 12 months. THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for an exceptional Sr. Product Manager to support product vision, execution, customer value, and business success for key areas of Ivo's platform. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and customer facing teams to deeply understand user problems and translate them into high impact product solutions. LLM capabilities are moving fast enough that a product decision that made sense six months ago may need rethinking today. You'll need to constantly reassess what AI can actually do, what that means for the user experience, and where the defensible value really lives, not just what looks good in a demo. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own key areas of Ivo's platform end to end, from discovery and spec through launch, measurement, and iteration - Spend time with customers: sit in on calls, watch how legal teams actually review contracts, and build the judgment to know which problems matter most - Work with engineering and design daily to scope and ship, writing specs that are precise about the problem and flexible about the solution - Track frontier LLM capabilities and translate them into product decisions: what's newly possible, what's newly commoditized, and where our defensible value lives - Partner with sales and customer success to turn feedback, usage patterns, and lost deals into roadmap priorities - Define success metrics for what you ship and hold yourself to them WHAT YOU BRING - 5+ years of Product Management experience (B2B SaaS strongly preferred) - Experience owning products from concept to launch - You work well with engineers and earn their trust - Strong customer empathy and the ability to deeply understand complex workflows - You care about understanding customer problems and solving them, not just shipping features - Good judgment about where we non-negotiably need to be best in the world, and where the 80/20 rule applies - Experience working closely with engineering teams - Comfort operating in ambiguity and making tradeoffs in a fast paced startup IVO MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF YOU: - Would describe yourself as being relentlessly resourceful. paulgraham.com - You have a strong internal sense of urgency. You have a bias towards doing things today, rather than tomorrow. - Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required. - Are excited about the adventure of building a company! WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive Compensation: Final offer details are determined based on experience, expertise, and overall fit. - Equity: Meaningful ownership in a company that's scaling fast - Relocation and Visa Support: We also offer relocation assistance for successful applicants moving to SF, as well as support for visa and green card applications where applicable. - Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans to suit the needs of you and your family. - Flexible Spending & Insurance: Access to HSA and FSA accounts, plus life insurance coverage. - 401(k) Program: Save for the future with our 401(k) program. - Commuter Benefits: We help make getting to and from the office easier and more convenient. - Unlimited PTO: So you can take the time you need to recharge, stay healthy, and bring your best self to work. - Office Perks: Enjoy a vibrant Downtown San Francisco office with catered lunch five days a week, premium snacks and coffee, an in-building gym, and a dog-friendly environment.
