Rate: $55 to $60/hr

Mandatory Technical Skills
Java 17
Spring Boot 3.x
REST API design and development
JWT validation and claims processing
OAuth 2.0 and token-based security
JSON Web Key Sets, public/private keys and certificate handling
Docker and containerised application development
Unit and integration testing
Error handling and API response mapping
Git-based source control
CI/CD pipeline configuration
Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
Experience with Okta or a comparable identity platform.
Understanding of OAuth client assertion flows.
Exposure to AWS KMS signing and key-management integration.
Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
Familiarity with GitLab CI and Harness CD.
Familiarity with API gateways, preferably Tyk.
Experience implementing observability using Honeycomb or similar tooling.
Experience supporting performance testing with Gatling.
Understanding of application-security practices for authentication and token services.
