LTK’s mission is to empower the world’s premium lifestyle Creators to achieve maximum economic success. We have a huge opportunity ahead of us and we’re looking for team members who want to create, innovate and disrupt an industry.
We empower our team members to drive innovation, create value, and continue to spearhead the creation of this industry — a game changer when it comes to career growth. Position Title : Staff Engineer, Brand
Location: Remote from the U.S. #LI-Remote #LI-CW1
About the role
LTK is seeking a Staff Engineer to strengthen the technical leadership of the Brand team. Staff Engineers on the team lead the architecture, technical direction, and execution of strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives. You will partner with product, design, data, and platform teams to solve high-impact problems and ensure the platform can reliably support evolving business needs.
As a senior technical leader, you will bring clarity to ambiguous initiatives; establish durable patterns across teams; and maintain the overall health of the Brand platform. This role expands technical-leadership coverage across Brand while helping LTK deliver reliable, scalable experiences that support our Brands and Creators.
How you will make an impact
Provide technical leadership across the Brand platform, leading strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives wherever they arise.
Define and evolve architecture for complex, cross-team product and platform initiatives.
Lead the technical strategy, decomposition, and execution of critical projects from discovery through delivery.
Partner with product, design, data, and platform teams to align technical decisions with customer, platform-health, and business outcomes.
Establish scalable patterns, APIs, and system boundaries that enable teams to move quickly while improving reliability and maintainability.
Identify and reduce technical risks, dependencies, and sources of operational complexity before they become delivery constraints.
Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and mentorship of engineers and emerging technical leaders.
Maintain overall platform health by strengthening observability, quality practices, operational readiness, and cross-team execution.
Translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical direction, practical milestones, and durable solutions.
Lead the adoption of AI-native engineering practices across the Brand platform, using coding agents and AI-assisted tools to accelerate investigation, technical design, implementation, testing, code review, documentation, and operational response.
Create the conditions for high-quality agent-assisted delivery by improving repository context, technical specifications, development environments, CI pipelines, test strategies, and feedback loops.
Direct multiple streams of agent-assisted work where appropriate, decomposing complex initiatives into well-scoped tasks, reviewing outputs critically, and remaining accountable for everything that reaches production.
Establish practical evaluation and validation mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows, including automated checks, targeted human review, security controls, observability, and production feedback.
Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce engineering toil, improve developer experience, increase test coverage, and shorten the path from an ambiguous problem to a reliable customer outcome.
Share what works through architecture guidance, reusable patterns, documentation, mentoring, and hands-on coaching so AI-native practices scale beyond individual power users.
What you will bring to LTK
8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading the architecture and delivery of complex, distributed systems.
Demonstrated success operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader across multiple teams or domains.
Strong systems-design skills, including the ability to make pragmatic architectural tradeoffs across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience.
Experience leading high-impact initiatives that require coordination across engineering, product, design, data, and platform partners.
A track record of turning ambiguous product and business problems into clear technical strategies and executable plans.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
A coaching mindset and demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and grow technical leadership across teams.
Commitment to engineering excellence, including quality, operational ownership, observability, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools or coding agents as part of a real engineering workflow, with the judgment to know when to trust, constrain, test, or reject their output.
Experience shaping software-development processes that help engineers and AI agents collaborate effectively—for example, through clear technical context, specifications, automated tests, CI feedback, evaluation harnesses, or repeatable development environments.
A track record of improving engineering leverage through automation, developer tooling, platform capabilities, or workflow redesign—not merely adopting tools in isolation.
Strong instincts for the risks of AI-assisted delivery, including incorrect or insecure output, dependency and data exposure, insufficient test coverage, nondeterministic behavior, and unclear ownership.
Comfort measuring whether new engineering practices improve outcomes such as cycle time, quality, reliability, maintainability, developer experience, or customer impact.
A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency
Dedication to fierce prioritization and operational excellence
Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-moving environment
A growth mindset and openness to feedback
