Job description

Pay: $57 Duration: 6+ months Hybrid position in either Hoboken, NJ or Minneapolis, MN Overview: The Marketing Director, Partner Solutions leads marketing strategy and execution for company’s Partner Solutions business — the function responsible for company’s data, technology, and ecosystem partnerships with societies and publishers. The role's primary growth objective is maturing company’s account-based marketing (ABM) approach across Partner Solutions' priority accounts, overseeing a team of marketers delivering integrated programs, major events, campaigns, and ABM initiatives aligned to Partner Solutions' commercial priorities. Alongside the marketing remit above, we're looking for someone with real depth in strategic or key account management — not someone who has simply managed a handful of big accounts, but someone who has designed the tiering, governance, and operating model that decides which accounts get that treatment, and why. Partner Solutions sits at the center of company’s partner and society ecosystem, and this hire has a genuine opportunity to help us mature our account management framework. The Marketing Director also builds a high-performing, capable marketing organization: coaching and developing the team, strengthening marketing capabilities, and establishing knowledge-sharing practices and scalable processes that support the function's growth. Job Responsibilities: • Lead the evolution and scale of ABM programs across Partner Solutions' priority accounts, establishing frameworks and best practices the organization can adopt beyond this contract. • Own execution and ongoing optimization of ABM program within Partner Solutions — refining account plans, executive sponsorship, and bringing a point of view on which technologies (account-intelligence platforms, CRM, analytics tooling) could sharpen how it runs. • Partner with Partner Solutions leadership, sales, and customer success to align account strategies and sharpen the personalization that deepens relationships with key partners, societies, and prospects. • Oversee integrated marketing initiatives that feed priority-account ABM programs, including campaigns, content, demand generation, major industry events, and executive engagements, and make sure every initiative is measurable and tied to business outcomes. • Lead the development and execution of the Partner Solutions marketing strategy, aligning plans with enterprise goals and commercial priorities, and advising where to focus and invest. • Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals, building team capability through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and repeatable best practices. • Monitor performance against clear KPIs; use customer, market, and campaign insights to optimize investments; and drive a culture of continuous, data-informed improvement. Required qualifications: • A track record of building and executing ABM strategies. • Demonstrated experience designing and running a formal strategic or key account management function — defining account tiering criteria, governance cadence, and the operating model that decides who gets senior coverage and why, not just managing a portfolio of named accounts. • Significant experience leading B2B marketing strategy and teams. • Experience managing integrated campaigns, programs, and events that contribute to commercial growth. • Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse teams, including stakeholders who do not report into marketing. Preferred qualifications: • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder institutional accounts — societies, associations, universities, healthcare systems, or government — rather than single-buyer commercial accounts. • Experience in publishing, technology, SaaS, platform businesses, or professional services. • A history of aligning marketing programs to enterprise strategic priorities. • Proven success building team capability and scaling marketing processes. • Experience with ABM platforms, tools, and technologies (e.g., Demandbase) and attribution or funnel analytics for account-based programs.
