Job description

LOCATION: PALO ALTO, CA (IN-PERSON) · TYPE: FULL-TIME · REPORTS TO: CEO ABOUT NACE AI At Nace AI, we are redefining how professional services operate by delivering Sovereign Specialized Intelligence. As an applied research and product company, we equip enterprises with a comprehensive AI stack to build customized, secure intelligence tailored to their unique business needs. Driven by advanced Small Language Models and our dynamic metamodel framework, our flagship platforms - Nace Data Intelligence and the Nace SLM Cloud - enable true end-to-end business process automation. The result is transformative ROI: professional services firms using Nace AI are currently recovering 1,000 hours per client engagement, drastically reducing overhead and accelerating delivery. The work we are doing has a meaningful impact across industries, and every hire at Nace AI plays a critical role in shaping the company’s trajectory. This is a unique opportunity to join a high conviction AI company at an early stage and directly influence its growth. If building a world-class AI team from the ground up excites you, we’d love to talk. THE ROLE This is a founding role and the most senior sales position at Nace AI. You will own revenue end to end: strategy, pipeline, pricing, deals, and — as we scale — the team. You'll work directly with our CEO and leadership to define how Nace goes to market and to turn early traction into a repeatable, category-defining sales motion. We are not hiring someone to run a playbook. We are hiring someone to write it. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the company's revenue number and build the go-to-market plan to hit it - Personally lead and close enterprise deals with CPA firms, law firms, audit and compliance organizations, and the technology partners that serve them - Open doors through your own network and convert relationships into a real, forecastable pipeline - Define our ideal customer profile, pricing, and packaging in partnership with product and leadership - Build the sales function from scratch: hiring, onboarding, process, tooling, and comp design - Bring the voice of the customer back into the company and shape the roadmap with what you hear in the field - Set the culture and standards of a sales org that will grow behind you WHO YOU ARE - A proven closer. You have a track record of hitting and exceeding aggressive enterprise sales targets. We're especially interested if you've put up great numbers selling a product that wasn't the easiest one on the market — that tells us you win on skill, not tailwinds. - You think big. Your ambition isn't capped at $1–20M ARR. You've either helped build a business well past that scale, or you have a credible, concrete view of how to get there and what it takes. - Deeply networked in professional services. You know the partners, practice leaders, and decision-makers at CPA, legal, audit, and compliance firms — and the developers and technology partners in that ecosystem — and they know you. - A builder, not a maintainer. You've operated at an early stage (or built a new business line inside a larger company) and know what it takes to go from zero to a functioning revenue engine. - Comfortable with complexity. You can sell a technical, evolving AI product to sophisticated, risk-aware buyers and hold your own in rooms with partners, CFOs, and heads of compliance. - Hands-on and accountable. You lead from the front, own the outcome, and don't wait for someone else to fix the pipeline. NICE TO HAVE - Direct experience selling software or services into accounting, audit, legal, or regulatory compliance - Experience selling AI, data, or workflow automation products to enterprise buyers - Prior experience as a first or founding sales hire WHAT WE OFFER - The most senior commercial seat at a well-funded, fast-growing AI company - Direct partnership with the founders and leadership team - Meaningful equity and competitive compensation - The chance to define a category in one of the largest and least-automated professional service markets in the world
