Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM: We are a team of engineers, scientists, and domain experts dedicated to making housing and building development more sustainable and equitable. At Anori, we believe that to meet the global housing demand, we must build differently than we have before. We are developing novel AI solutions to address complex challenges in these industries, driving a transformation in building performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This is a rare opportunity to shape an early-stage company in an extremely meaningful way. The Role: We are looking for full stack engineers who are passionate about making a global impact in sustainable building development and who have deep experience in 3D visualizations. If you love creating seamless, interactive 3D visualizations of complex geometries, then you could be a strong fit. You might spend some of your time creating performant, multilayer geospatial data renderings, creating interactive workflows on our web app, or building out intuitive ways of visualizing hierarchical 3D building layers. You will be part of a talented, interdisciplinary engineering team helping build an AI platform from the ground up. How you will make an Impact - Design and implement robust, end to end production-level software to enable our users to visualize, interact with and share complex data including building data, site plans, and geospatial data layers - Build and deploy interactive web app workflows - Work with users to understand their feedback and ship features that deliver customer value - Work effectively with cross-functional teams of software engineers, designers, AI engineers, and domain experts What you should have: - Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent practical experience - Strong python and javascript (React) development skills - 1+ years of experience building interactive, real time 3D renderings, such as for CAD, BIM, or other complex 3D geometries - 3+ years of experience building large, complex software systems and web applications - Strong software engineering/system design skills and excitement about solving complex problems at scale and navigating ambiguity - A passion for solving complex problems with global impact - A product mindset: an interest in taking ownership of features from end to end, including gathering user feedback and iterating rapidly on the design and performance It’d be great if you also had these: - Experience creating user experiences for geospatial data layers - Experience building applications and infra leveraging the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack - Experience working in an early stage company with rapidly changing requirements Base salary range is tiered based on location: $150,000 – $250,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. Base salary is one part of total compensation. Benefits: A competitive salary. Equity. Choice of medical, dental, and vision plans so you can pick what actually fits your life. 401(k) with a 4% match. Unlimited PTO with 2 company closure weeks: one in the summer, and one around the December holidays. 12 weeks fully paid parental leave whatever your path to parenthood looks like. And the smaller things that add up: home office setup, a cell phone stipend, and twice-a-year team offsites to reconnect in person. Anori is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment based on merit, without regard to these characteristics.
