Job description

Technology is one of the biggest items in an enterprise CFO’s budget, second only to headcount. Traditional procurement is one of the most frustrating, friction-filled bottlenecks in the modern business. Vertice is the world’s first Intelligent Procurement Platform eliminating this chaos. By combining agentic workflows, deep AI insights, and a global network of expert negotiators, we empower enterprises to buy smarter and scale at pace. The market response has been unprecedented: - $75bn+ in spend processed across our platform. - 20% savings consistently delivered to our customers. - 70% reduction in standard enterprise procurement cycles. - 13X revenue growth achieved over the last two years alone. Founded by serial technology entrepreneurs Roy and Eldar Tuvey, who have successfully scaled and exited two category-defining platforms and created $600M+ in enterprise value, we are backed by over $100M in Series C funding from tier 1 global investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 83North, Lakestar. We have also been recognized as the #2 fastest-growing company on the Sunday Times' Tech 100 and the fastest-growing startup in the UK and Ireland by the FT’s Sifted (#4 in Europe). With headquarters in London and hubs in New York, Brno, Sydney, and Johannesburg, we are fundamentally reshaping the global B2B economy. Your Role at Vertice: We’re growing our world-class GTM team and are looking for ambitious, high-potential people to join as Business Development Representatives. You’ll be on the front line of Vertice’s growth - engaging senior executives at some of the most exciting companies across various regions, and helping fuel the next stage of our expansion. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role in an organisation built by leaders who’ve successfully exited two SaaS companies (to Jamf and Cisco for $600M+ ). For high performers, it’s a launchpad into a quota-carrying AE role or other senior commercial paths. Every team member also receives share options - because we want you to grow with the company you’re helping to build. What you'll do: - Drive the early stage of our sales process by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects across multiple channels. - Build relationships with senior decision-makers - Finance, Procurement, and Operations leaders - to understand their challenges and spark interest in Vertice. - Partner closely with Account Executives to create opportunities and deliver a consistent, high-quality pipeline. - Craft personalised, creative outreach campaigns that stand out and convert. - Become an expert on the Vertice platform, able to clearly and confidently communicate its value. - Keep CRM data accurate and own your metrics with accountability. - Work in an environment that rewards curiosity, resilience, and initiative - things change fast here, and we like it that way. What we’re looking for: We’re open to a range of backgrounds - what matters most is drive, curiosity, and a record of operating in performance-driven environments. - Initial experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment (sales, consulting, banking, start-ups, or similar). - Proven ability to exceed goals or KPIs. - Strong communication skills - confident, credible, and persuasive. - A proactive, growth-oriented mindset: you’re hungry to learn, open to feedback, and thrive in ambiguity. - Organised, disciplined, and accountable for your results. - Interest in SaaS, procurement, or B2B tech is a plus, but not required. What you'll get: - Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + share options. - Be a part of a fast-growing, innovative startup that is changing the way businesses buy and sell SaaS. - Mentorship directly from Vertice’s senior GTM leaders. - A fast-track path into closing roles or other commercial functions. - Exposure to the entire go-to-market engine of a rapidly scaling SaaS company. - A high-performance culture built on trust, autonomy, and collaboration. Final things to note Vertice is an equal opportunities employer, although you must be legally able to work in the specified region of the job. Any personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with Vertice's privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
