Job description

About Inworld Inworld is a research lab and inference provider focused on realtime AI for consumer-facing applications. We build first-party speech models, serve LLMs, and run the inference behind modular APIs designed for high-volume, realtime workloads. Hundreds of millions of users interact with Inworld powered apps every day and we serve over 10 trillion LLM tokens per month. Our models and infrastructure support consumer applications across companions, healthcare, fitness, education, media, and more. Our work spans model research, realtime inference, large-scale serving infrastructure, and the APIs developers use to bring these capabilities into production. We’ve raised more than $125M from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Section 32, Kleiner Perkins, Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, Founders Fund, Meta, Stanford, and others. Our technology has powered experiences from companies including NVIDIA, Microsoft Xbox, Niantic, Logitech Streamlabs, Wishroll, Little Umbrella, and Bible Chat. Inworld has also been recognized by CB Insights as one of the 100 most promising AI companies globally and named one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Startups in the USA. We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager to help grow and strengthen our relationships with existing customers as we scale. You’ll own a book of accounts, get to know how each customer uses us technically and commercially, and make sure they renew, expand and get real value from our products. You’ll be one of the first members of the team to help shape how we manage accounts as they grow. Candidates are ideally based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site at our Mountain View office a few days a week), but remote candidates will also be considered. Responsibilities - Renewals: Own renewals across your book of accounts. Start conversations early, understand what each customer needs to say yes, and close renewals on time. - Expansion: Find and pursue growth within existing customers, whether that’s new teams, new use cases or larger commitments. Build expansion plans with your customers and work with Sales to close bigger opportunities. - Technical Account Management: Learn our products in depth and understand how each customer has deployed them. Act as a trusted technical point of contact, help troubleshoot issues, and bring in Solutions or Engineering when needed. - Customer Relationships: Build relationships with multiple people at each account, from hands-on technical users to the decision-makers who sign contracts. - Account Health: Track usage, engagement and other signals to spot risk early. Act quickly when an account shows signs of trouble. - Customer Reviews: Run regular check-ins and business reviews that show customers the value they’re getting and set goals for what’s next. - AI & Tooling: Use AI tools for account research, meeting prep and follow-up, so more of your time goes to working directly with customers. Keep the CRM accurate and up to date. - Voice of the Customer: Share customer feedback, feature requests and recurring blockers with Product and Engineering, and follow up with customers on what changes. Requirements - 4+ years in technical account management, customer success or a similar customer-facing role at a software company - A track record of owning renewals and growing accounts, with experience negotiating contracts - Comfort with technical products, and the ability to have credible conversations with engineers as well as business stakeholders - Experience managing multiple accounts at once and prioritizing well across them - Familiarity with CRM and customer success tools, and interest in using AI to work more efficiently - Strong written and verbal communication, and composure when handling escalations - Self-direction and comfort in a small team where the process is still being built The United States base salary range for this full-time position is between 170,000 - 210,000 + variable + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process. Inworld Jobs Privacy inworld.ai
