Job description

ABOUT AEGISAI We’re a team of ex-Google engineers who built some of the largest defensive platforms on the planet — Safe Browsing (protecting 5B+ devices) and reCAPTCHA (protecting millions of websites). Now, backed by $36M in Series A funding led by Battery Ventures, Accel, and Foundation Capital, we’re striking out on our own to tackle an even bigger challenge: stopping the new wave of adversarial AI attacks already hitting organizations. Email security is a $7B+ market ripe for disruption. Legacy rule-based and ML systems can’t keep up with adversaries using AI to craft highly customized, evasive attacks. AegisAI is building an LLM-native email security platform powered by autonomous AI agents designed for this new threat landscape — adaptive, fast, and fundamentally different. THE ROLE Your mission is to turn breakthrough tech into revenue, pipeline, and market momentum. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will manage our largest, most complex enterprise accounts (10,000+ employees) from initial conversation through contract signing and expansion. The team already has a strong pipeline of enterprise logos - they need an experienced pro to run it. You’ll work closely with founders, product, and marketing to connect top-of-funnel demand with enterprise and partner sales motions. This is not a “run the playbook” role — you’ll help write it. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the Full Sales Cycle: Lead consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in competitive, incumbent-heavy environments. You will act as an internal guide for the customer, adeptly navigating and supporting complex enterprise buying processes. - Qualify & Build Business Cases: Uncover deep customer pain points and connect them to compelling, value-driven solutions. You'll build rigorous business cases, quantifying ROI across multiple dimensions for diverse stakeholder groups. - Resonate & Present: Tailor demos and messaging to resonate with technical security leaders and C-suite executives based on their specific business challenges. - Drive Process & Data Discipline: Maintain accurate, consistent account and opportunity data across all sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan). Employ a repeatable sales methodology to manage multiple high-value deals without sacrificing quality. - Share Knowledge & Influence Product: Extract, organize, and document customer insights to enable broader team learning. Be a voice for the customer with Product and Marketing to ensure appropriate prioritization, influence the roadmap, and refine positioning. - Leverage the Team: Resourcefully utilize cross-functional teams including SEs, Marketing, BDRs, Product, and Customer Success to win new logos. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years of strategic or enterprise SaaS sales experience, specifically selling into organizations with 3,000+ employees. - A proven track record of closing six-figure deals, driving millions in pipeline, and consistently exceeding new ARR quotas. - Technical fluency. You are comfortable selling technical, security-focused products. You sell new detection paradigms, not checkboxes. - Self-starter. You can prospect, run deals, and close independently without heavy enablement. - Bias toward action. You think in days and weeks, not quarters. - Strong discovery skills and the ability to translate technical value into measurable business impact. BONUS POINTS - Experience selling security, email security, or detection systems. - Start-up experience: Success at an early-stage, Series A underdog, or a new entrant competing against massive incumbents. - Exposure to PLG-assisted sales motions. - Comfort selling alongside highly technical founders. WHY WE’LL WIN - The market is massive and incumbents are too slow to adapt. - Our team has built internet-scale security systems before. - This is our third category-defining security product. - AI and security are built into the core — not bolted on. - We hire top performers and move fast: no politics, no hierarchy, no fluff. OUR CULTURE - Flat, fast, and founders have sales DNA. - Clear KPIs, full ownership. - Development cycles measured in days. - You’ll have real influence — on deals, strategy, and the company itself. If you want to build and sell AI that fights AI, work directly with builders who’ve done it at global scale, and help define the future of email security — come talk to us.
