Job Description: Our client is seeking an SAP MM/PP Master Data Analyst to join their SAP Center of Excellence. In this remote role, you will independently create and maintain SAP master data (materials, multi-level bills of material and routings) to support new product introductions and engineering changes, making sure master data is accurate, complete and correctly integrated with cost accounting from the point of creation. Responsibilities: Create and maintain material masters (MM01/MM02) across all relevant views: Basic Data, MRP, Purchasing, Accounting and Costing Build and maintain multi-level BOMs (CS01/CS02), including component quantities, scrap factors and BOM usage/alternatives Create and maintain routings (CA01/CA02), including work centers, operations and standard values used for costing and capacity planning Run and interpret standard cost estimates (CK11N/CK13N) to confirm new or changed structures produce expected cost results Validate valuation class and account determination (OBYC) settings so GR/IR and inventory postings hit the correct GL accounts Map new materials and cost-relevant changes to the correct cost elements in coordination with Controlling Troubleshoot master data errors that cause costing, MRP or inventory posting issues Support engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) by updating BOMs and routings Maintain data quality, naming conventions and SOX/change-control documentation Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience 2-4 years of hands-on experience creating and maintaining SAP material masters, BOMs and routings Working knowledge of SAP MM and PP master data transactions Understanding of standard cost estimation and how BOM and routing structure drives product cost Familiarity with OBYC account determination and valuation classes Preferred: Manufacturing or medical device/regulated industry experience Exposure to SAP FI/CO cost accounting (cost elements, GR/IR reconciliation) SAP S/4HANA experience Pay rate: $65/hr. This is a 6-month remote contract position.
