Job description

Who We Are HIKE2 is an advisory and innovation partner helping organizations design and build what’s next. We work with complex and regulated industries, including law firms, financial services, insurance, professional services, and high-growth SaaS companies, to modernize operating models and embed data, automation, and AI into the core of how work gets done. Our clients aren’t just upgrading technology. They are rethinking workflows, activating governed AI, and designing environments where humans and intelligent systems work side by side. We believe meaningful transformation happens when strategy, data, design, and engineering move together. Siloed initiatives don’t scale. Real progress requires clarity of vision, strong data foundations, responsible governance, and disciplined execution. Our teams bring deep industry expertise, human-centered design, and advanced data and cloud capabilities to architect secure, scalable solutions built for real-world complexity. From modern data platforms to AI-enabled workflows and enterprise automation, we help organizations move from experimentation to measurable impact. We thrive in change and move from blank slate to working systems. We care deeply about outcomes, trust, and building long-term partnerships. We don’t just implement technology. We help design the future of work. The Role HIKE2 is seeking an Enterprise Technical Architect to shape, build, and deliver complex technology solutions for our enterprise clients. This role will define architecture across a broad technology landscape, including Salesforce, data platforms, AI, integrations, APIs, cloud services, and custom applications. Deep Salesforce expertise is important, but success in this role requires a broader perspective on how these technologies work together to solve business problems. We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can quickly understand an unfamiliar technical landscape, determine how the pieces should fit together, and then work alongside delivery teams to make the solution real. This is a hands-on architecture role that actively participates in the implementation and delivery of systems and solutions. What You'll Do Architect Enterprise Solutions • Translate complex business problems into pragmatic, scalable technical architectures. • Design solutions that span Salesforce, enterprise data platforms, AI, integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, and custom applications. • Evaluate existing client technology ecosystems and determine how platforms and capabilities should work together. • Make thoughtful architecture decisions based on business outcomes rather than defaulting to a particular technology or platform. • Define integration, data, application, security, and platform architecture patterns. • Balance near-term delivery needs with long-term scalability, maintainability, security, and technical strategy. Solve the Hard Problems • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous situations where the path forward is not immediately obvious. • Break complex technical challenges into manageable components and define pragmatic paths to resolution. • Diagnose and resolve architecture, integration, data, performance, and application challenges across technologies. • Quickly learn unfamiliar systems, platforms, and technologies when needed to solve complex client problems. • Identify technical risks, constraints, and dependencies early and develop practical strategies to address them. Stay Hands-On • Prototype solutions, build technical spikes, and validate architectural approaches before committing to large-scale implementation. • Work directly with APIs, integrations, data models, platform configuration and development, AI services, and custom applications. • Review code, configurations, integration designs, data models, and technical implementations to ensure quality and architectural alignment. • Work alongside engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges when needed. • Help teams translate architecture and design decisions into working, production-ready solutions. Lead Technical Delivery • Establish the technical vision, architecture, and guiding principles for complex, multi-capability programs while remaining closely connected to delivery. • Partner with engineers, data and AI teams, designers, product owners, architects, and client stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. • Enable teams to make sound technical decisions independently while providing guidance on critical architecture decisions and trade-offs. • Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, accelerators, and engineering best practices that improve consistency and delivery effectiveness. • Mentor architects and senior engineers and help raise the technical bar across HIKE2. Advise Clients • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to executive and senior technology leaders. • Lead architecture discussions and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences. • Help clients evaluate technology choices, architectural approaches, and trade-offs across platforms and capabilities. • Connect technology decisions to business outcomes, operating models, transformation objectives, and long-term technology strategy. • Challenge assumptions and provide objective recommendations based on business needs, technical fit, risk, cost, and long-term value. • Support technical strategy and solutioning during sales pursuits, discovery efforts, and expansion opportunities.
