Job description

WE'RE BUILDING A NEW HEALTHCARE CLEARINGHOUSE Stedi is the only headless clearinghouse and RCM engine. Headless means every part of our product is accessible via API. Developers and AI agents build their own interface on top of it. By offering modern, AI-ready APIs alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions. Our clearinghouse product and customer-first approach have set us apart. Stedi was ranked by Ramp ramp.com as one of the fastest-growing SaaS vendors. Stedi has lightning in a bottle: engineers and designers shipping products week in and week out; a lean business team supporting the company's infrastructure; a passion for automation and eliminating toil; and $142 million in funding from top investors like Stripe, Addition, USV, Bloomberg Beta, First Round Capital, and more. To see what we ship, watch the 2026 Stedi Keynote youtube.com. To learn more about how we work, watch our founder Zack's interview with First Round Capital youtube.com. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Stedi is an API-first healthcare clearinghouse. By offering a modern API interface for running eligibility checks, processing claims, and ingesting ERAs, healthcare technology businesses are able to exchange transactions with payers without dealing with the EDI protocol or carrier-specific connectivity. We are seeking a product manager to own one of Stedi's products end-to-end. You will help shape requirements, drive prioritization, and work with engineering to execute on the roadmap. This role requires someone who can thrive in ambiguity, translate complex customer needs into actionable product direction, and relentlessly pursue product performance and quality. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the product roadmap for substantial portions of our clearinghouse offering. - Contribute to a team that ships day in and day out – see our blog stedi.com and changelog stedi.com - Report directly to the Head of Product and Engineering and work closely with the CEO to develop product direction. - Be the primary author of complex, technical product and business documents (e.g. PR/FAQs, BRDs, GitHub tickets). Work with our healthcare customers to gather feedback and requirements and translate them into actionable product. - Work with our design team to develop mockups and wireframes, and our engineering team to prioritize and deliver features. - Measure product performance to track adoption and identify areas of investment. Own metrics related to product adoption/engagement. - Support and provide expertise on other product initiatives, helping to advance Stedi’s overall product suite. About You - Previous experience in product management role with a track record of delivering successfully adopted products (B2B products delivered via API are a major plus). - 2+ years working in healthcare revenue cycle management, particularly eligibility verification workflows is strongly preferred. - Either Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or professional experience writing code are strongly preferred. - Have an established, demonstrable track record of driving product adoption and managing a product roadmap. - Ability to translate complex customer requirements to a highly technical audience. - Highly curious; not satisfied with getting something to work, you want to understand why it works and how to make it high quality. - Thrive in an ambiguous environment with a drive to ship early and often. We’ve been made aware of individuals impersonating the Stedi recruiting team. Please note: - All official communication about roles at Stedi will only come from an @stedi.com stedi.com email address, or from our official identification verification partner, Persona, @frompersona.com frompersona.com. - If you’re unsure whether a message is legitimate or have any concerns, feel free to contact us directly at careers@stedi.com. We appreciate your attention to this and your interest in joining Stedi. At Stedi, we're looking for people who are deeply curious and aligned to our ways of working. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly match the job description.
