Backed by the world’s most advanced traffic AI, Miovision’s innovations in traffic signal planning and operations are making it possible for cities to improve the transportation experience for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Our values drive us. They’re at the core of everything we do. If they align with yours, proceed through the GREEN light! - All in to win: We're driven by a winning mindset, approaching every challenge with intensity, clarity, and speed. - One Miovision: We succeed as one team, uniting diverse talents, building on trust, and putting our shared mission before ego. - Be better every day: We're committed to continuous growth, staying curious, building mastery, and embracing challenges as learning opportunities. - Make it happen: We are proactive and results-driven, taking ownership, acting with urgency, and focusing on solutions that deliver real impact. - Earn the customer: We are deeply customer-centric, focused on earning our customers' partnership every day by delivering exceptional experiences that drive their success. Position Summary: At Miovision, we are engineering the future of smart transportation, and we need a highly strategic Staff Product Manager to clear the intersection for our market-leading Signal Priority and Preemption portfolio. Reporting directly to the Product Director of App Services, you will be the ultimate traffic controller for technology that directly impacts emergency response times, first responder safety, and global transit efficiency. We need a visionary who can look past the current gridlock to define a bold 3–5 year roadmap, modernizing our platform with advanced cloud analytics and smart priority management. If you are ready to give the green light to life-saving technology, expand our reach across emergency services and commercial fleets, and redefine signal priority for the smart-city era, merge into our fast lane! Objectives and Responsibilities: - Portfolio Vision: Own the 3–5 year strategic vision and success metrics for the portfolio, predicting industry trends to seamlessly connect hardware, edge computing, and cloud software across various fleet types. - Scalable Execution: Proactively design solutions that eliminate deployment friction, lower the cost of scale, and significantly improve unit economics across the board. - Complex Problem Solving: Transform highly complex, ill-defined problems in the signal priority space into actionable, compelling, and market-ready solutions. - Continuous Discovery: Maintain a relentless rhythm of continuous discovery, validating the "riskiest assumptions" early to build high-conviction business cases and guide your long-term roadmap. - AI & Predictive Analytics: Revolutionize the user experience by shifting our offerings from reactive data visualization to automated, AI-driven predictive optimization. - Executive Authority: Act as the definitive executive-level authority on priority systems and smart infrastructure, influencing company-wide product strategy and guiding senior leadership on market positioning. - Independent Alignment: Build powerful partner networks and align Sales, Engineering, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams on high-stakes releases, masterfully negotiating complex trade-offs without requiring leadership escalation. - Revenue & Mentorship: Protect and actively scale key revenue streams by delivering reliable, modern software, while serving as a central hub of coordination and a dedicated mentor for junior PMs. TECHNICAL PORTFOLIO OVERVIEW: - Driving cloud-connected preemption and priority software that powers real-time priority at traffic intersections for emergency vehicles, public transit, and commercial fleet. - Building advanced analytics platforms that evaluate fleet performance, intersection health, safety metrics, and fuel efficiency to give all users clear operational insights. - Ensuring your products integrate seamlessly with our overarching platform ecosystem and respect the integrity of the broader architecture. The Ideal Profile: - The Product Veteran: You bring extensive product management experience as a principal or lead contributor, boasting a proven track record of scaling enterprise platforms and successfully expanding into new vertical markets. - The Autonomous Leader: You thrive in high-standard, highly ambiguous environments, effortlessly taking total ownership of complex initiatives and turning uncertainty into clear, actionable direction. - The User-Obsessed Explorer: You always start with the user and work backwards, building continuous discovery loops and utilizing multi-modal data to validate critical assumptions before committing a single engineering resource. - The Financial Strategist: You possess razor-sharp business acumen, seamlessly connecting product decisions to core financial drivers (like COGS and margins) and aligning product strategy with executive-level sales and engineering goals. - The Strategic Diplomat: You are a master at managing "up and sideways," using hard data to say "no" strategically, protect your team from distractions, and keep everyone intensely focused on high-impact priorities. - The Mission-Driven Innovator: You are genuinely passionate about the impact of your work—eager to shape technology that actively saves lives, accelerates public transit, and optimizes massive commercial fleets. Your Rewards & Well-being: We invest in our team with benefits designed for modern life and true work-life balance. - Comprehensive Coverage: Your well-being is covered from day one with comprehensive health benefits, 24/7 virtual healthcare access, and dedicated wellness programs. - Financial Future: Build for tomorrow with our RRSP/401K Matching Plan and share in the company's success through our Variable Incentive Plan. - Time to Recharge: Truly unplug with our unique Mio-Days and flexible vacation policy. - Work & Life Support: We support you with flexible work options, an internet subsidy, a remote work allowance, and enhanced leave for new parents.
