Job description

TripleLift is the Creative SSP powered by TL Spark, our agentic intelligence layer. We orchestrate creative, supply, audience, and measurement into a single outcome-driven system across the open internet, retail media, and CTV. Our platform enables brands and agencies to drive measurable performance while helping publishers maximize yield and preserve high-quality user experiences. Overview TripleLift delivers measurable outcomes through orchestration of creative, supply, audience, and intelligence. To turn that strategy into results, we are seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and a force multiplier for the executive team. The Chief of Staff plays a critical role in how TripleLift shapes, executes, and communicates its most important strategic initiatives. In this position, you will partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership, and our private equity sponsor to pressure-test plans, drive cross-functional execution, and keep priorities from being diluted as they move through the organization. This is not an administrative role. It is an opportunity for someone who wants to help create and execute strategy, and who is comfortable moving between high-level thinking and hands-on work. The role is a stepping stone to a senior strategy, operations or P&L leadership position. This is a hybrid position based in our New York City office, with an expectation of working in the office three days per week. Responsibilities Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team on strategic questions, building and interpreting the KPIs that tie directly to the company’s strategic mission. Sit on the exec team as a direct report to the CEO. Help create and drive cross-functional strategic initiatives across finance, operations, and go-to-market, including margin improvement, cost takeout, growth programs, and transformation work. Pressure-test plans for feasibility before rollout and give candid, data-backed feedback to leadership. Run or support 100-day plans, synergy tracking, and carve-out or integration workstreams for mergers and acquisitions. Communicate strategy and outcomes to varied audiences, including employees, the board of directors, and financial sponsors, and prepare board and sponsor materials. Own the CEO’s executive operating rhythm, including reporting cadences, executive team and board preparation, follow-through on commitments, and cross-functional coordination. Act as a trusted liaison between the C-suite and the broader organization, influencing without authority to keep initiatives on track. Education & Requirements MBA or post-undergraduate master’s degree is a plus. A minimum of 4 years of experience at a top strategy consulting firm, ideally with exposure to corporate strategy, operations, or private equity portfolio work. Direct experience working inside private equity portfolio companies (as an embedded resource, EIR, or through a PE operating group) on margin improvement, driving operating leverage, or growth initiatives is a plus. Experience running or supporting 100-day plans, M&A, synergy tracking, or carve-out and integration workstreams, ideally across tech, finance, operations, and go-to-market functions. Comfort moving between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution, reporting cadences, and cross-functional coordination. Discreet, low-ego, high-output, with strong relationship skills and the ability to act as a force multiplier for a CEO and executive team without needing the spotlight. Military background is a plus: former operational commissioned officer (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force), ideally with experience leading teams under operational pressure and tight timelines.
