Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an Electromagnetics & High Frequency Power Electronics Engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing smaller, more efficient high voltage power supplies as part of our subsea communication systems . We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Custom magnetics design, resonant converter topologies (LLC, SRC), FEA simulation (ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL), HV isolation design, EMI/EMC .
