Job description

Senior Business Development Representative (Senior BDR)-Hybrid ABOUT TILLSTER Tillster, headquartered in the USA, is the global leader in digital ordering and customer engagement solutions. For over a decade we have developed revolutionary self-service, ordering, and payments solutions for mobile, tablet, online, kiosk, call center, and more, creating personalized interactions based on consumer preferences, language, and currency. Our platform is compatible with 15+ unique POS systems, representing over 90% coverage in multi-unit restaurants: one platform, one scalable, enterprise-class solution, built to power world-class digital engagement. Our mission and our passion are one and the same: empower restaurants and consumers to engage and transact anywhere, anytime, from any device, one consumer at a time, one order at a time, billions of times over. In doing so, we're transforming e-commerce in restaurants and helping the till grow for Tillster and our customers. THE OPPORTUNITY You're joining Tillster at a strong inflection point. The ICP is defined, the HubSpot infrastructure is built, and paid programs, content, inbound, and outbound workflows are already running. What's missing is someone to turn that foundation into consistent, compounding pipeline. That's this role. This isn't a traditional BDR seat where you're handed a list, given a script, and measured on activity alone. You'll have real say over who we target, how we reach them, what we test, and how the motion improves over time. The role spans two complementary motions: strategic outbound into Tillster's largest accounts, including multinational QSR and fast-casual brands, alongside higher-velocity prospecting into qualified multi-unit operators. Along the way, you'll work across the buying committee, from Technology and Operations to Marketing and Finance, and learn what actually matters to each of them, not just how to pitch a feature list. If you like building pipeline and improving the machinery behind it, this is a hands-on, highly autonomous seat to do both. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Pipeline Generation • Research and prioritize target accounts and buying committee members. • Build and run personalized outbound campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn. • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and run initial discovery calls. • Partner with AEs on account strategy, prospecting, and handoffs. • Generate qualified meetings and pipeline, consistently. Sales Technology & Optimization We're not looking for a RevOps specialist, but you should be comfortable opening up a system, figuring out how it works, testing changes, and solving problems on your own. • Build, QA, and optimize sequences in Apollo. • Work hands-on in HubSpot to keep data clean and outbound workflows running. • Test messaging, targeting, and sequencing, and use the results to improve. • Troubleshoot basic tooling and workflow issues independently. • Spot opportunities to automate and streamline prospecting. WHAT YOU'LL BRING • 2–5+ years in B2B SaaS, technology, or another complex B2B sales environment. • A track record of generating qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting. • Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts and engaging multiple stakeholders. • Hands-on experience with a sales engagement platform such as Apollo, Outreach, or Salesloft. • Experience working in a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce. • Strong written communication and the ability to tailor messaging to specific accounts and buyers. • Comfort using data and performance metrics to sharpen your approach. • Curiosity about sales technology, automation, AI, and modern GTM workflows. • Strong organization and CRM discipline. • The ability to work independently, prioritize well, and own your outcomes. WHY THIS ROLE Most BDR seats teach you one motion and one script. This one gives you two: strategic enterprise outbound and higher-velocity prospecting, plus real ownership of the tools and process behind them. You'll build pipeline while helping shape the sales technology and workflows the rest of the team runs on, the kind of cross-functional experience in enterprise sales, sales operations, and GTM that usually takes years, and a few job changes, to piece together. THE INTERVIEW PROCESS • Recruiter screen with a Talent Acquisition Specialist. • Interview with the hiring manager • Hands-on technical exercise: • Interview with Sales & Marketing leadership • Reference check Pay and Benefits (USA) - Base salary range of $85,000-$90,000; OTE up to $115,000, commensurate with experience. - Equity: All employees within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the Stock Option Plan. - Health Benefits: All full-time, regular employees and their dependents are eligible for medical, dental, vision and FSA benefits. Additional health benefits include Healthcare and Dependent Care reimbursement programs, Employee Assistance Program (“EAP”) and Optum Care 24-hour confidential medical counseling services. - Holidays: The company observes ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year. - Paid Time Off (PTO): Full-time, regular employees earn 15 days of PTO in the first 12-months of continuous service, and 22 days in subsequent years. Eligible part-time employees earn pro-rated PTO. - Retirement: Effective with your employment start date, you will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. - Education, Learning & Development: We offer college tuition and education assistance programs; LinkedIn Learning courses; and ongoing learning and development opportunities.
