Job description
About Bikky
Restaurants are the heart of our communities - where we go to celebrate life’s memorable moments with those we love, and find comfort and familiarity in the world. But while the digital and data revolutions have transformed other parts of commerce and hospitality, restaurants haven’t had the same opportunity. The result has been an industry that’s - on average - had their profit margins shrink by 5x over the past 20 years.
Bikky was founded on the belief that restaurants deserve the same access to data as the largest, most sophisticated businesses in the world. We believe that data can fundamentally transform the economic model of the entire restaurant industry - producing better businesses, more jobs, and stronger communities.
Bikky is based in New York City and has raised over $26 million in funding to date, most recently with a Series B in 2026. We’re proud to support thousands of restaurant locations across the U.S., from nationally recognized brands like Bojangles, Dave’s Hot Chicken, and Long John Silver’s to iconic New York City brands and neighborhood staples like Avo, Dig Inn, Naya, and Westville.
About the role
As a Senior Product Designer at Bikky, you’ll play a central role in shaping the experience of our product. You’ll work directly with the Head of Product Design and partner closely with product leadership, engineering, and data teams to define, design, and ship features that help restaurant operators make better decisions with their data.
We care about the details, from the systems-level thinking down to the pixels. If you have opinions about typography, spacing, font weights, and when something is just a few hex codes away from feeling right, you’ll feel at home here.
Early on, you’ll take ownership of key workflows that help teams move from raw data to confident decisions, shaping both the experience and the underlying patterns that will scale with the product.
You’ll be trusted to:
• Partner with product and engineering to define problems, explore solutions, and ship end-to-end product experiences
• Lead design work for major initiatives across our analytics platform, dashboards, and AI-driven interfaces
• Translate complex data concepts into simple, understandable user experiences for non-technical restaurant teams
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability, clarity, and speed, without losing sight of craft
• Collaborate directly with the Head of Product Design on design direction, critique, and long-term vision
• Contribute to and help evolve Bikky’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
• Work closely with customer-facing teams to incorporate real-world feedback into design decisions
About you
We’re looking for a senior-level designer who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, motivated by impact, and strong in judgment and taste. This role is less about checking boxes and more about how you think, collaborate, and navigate complex problems with confidence. You notice when something feels slightly off, even if you can’t immediately explain why, and you enjoy figuring out how to make it right.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years of experience in product design
• Experience designing complex, data-heavy, or B2B products
• Strong end-to-end product design skills, from discovery and systems thinking to polished execution
• The ability to clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs to cross-functional partners
Bonus points if you have:
• Strong visual and brand sensibilities, including experience contributing to marketing visuals, product marketing assets, or brand systems
• Experience designing analytics tools, dashboards, or AI-assisted products
That said, we want to talk with exceptional candidates from any background. If you feel you’re a great fit for the role, please reach out even if you don’t meet every requirement listed above.
Why us
At Bikky, design has real leverage. We care as much about how the product feels to use as we do about what it enables. You’ll work on meaningful problems that affect thousands of restaurant brands across the country, helping bring modern, well-designed data tools to an industry that has long been overlooked by traditional software.
Many of us are startup veterans and we feel we’re working at an “adult’s startup” - all the benefits of being at an early stage company without the chaos. We move quickly, but intentionally. We value autonomy, trust, and high-quality work over process for process’s sake. You’ll have the opportunity to shape not just the product, but how design functions at Bikky as we scale.
The work you do here will show up in real decisions made by real teams, often in moments that actually matter to their business.
Perks and Benefits
• $160,000 - $200,000 annual salary. Estimated salary range is inclusive of multiple levels and will be narrowed in the interview process.
• Generous equity compensation
• Top tier health insurance including medical, vision, and dental
• Ability to participate in a 401k
• Bikky offers a hybrid working environment. We have an office where the team works 3 to 4 times per week
• Flexible vacation policy
