About Vinci
Every physical thing you touch exists because somebody, somewhere, successfully navigated the laws of physics.
The chips inside your phone. The vehicles on the road. The factories that make modern life possible. The data centers powering artificial intelligence. Physics determines what can be built, how well it performs, and ultimately where it breaks.
Yet most engineering decisions are still made with surprisingly limited access to physics. The tools used to understand physical behavior are often too slow, too expensive, and too specialized to be used continuously throughout the design process. As a result, engineers are forced to make critical decisions with only a partial view of how their systems will behave in the real world.
We think that is about to change.
Vinci is building a Foundation Model for Physics. Our mission is to make physical reasoning as accessible to engineers as language became through modern AI. We are creating a new computing layer that allows engineers to understand, predict, and optimize complex physical systems in ways that were previously impossible.
This is not an attempt to build slightly better engineering software. It is an attempt to change how physical products are designed.
Today, our technology is being used by many of the world's most advanced semiconductor and electronics organizations, including nearly half of the twenty largest companies in the industry. Over time, we believe the same foundation can transform every field where physics matters—from robotics and aerospace to manufacturing, energy, and beyond.
About the Role
Vinci is building technology that does not fit neatly into existing categories. As a result, one of our biggest challenges is not building the technology—it is helping customers understand what it enables.
As Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for connecting Vinci's technical capabilities to real engineering outcomes. You will work closely with our physics, machine learning, product, and go-to-market teams to translate complex technology into clear value propositions, compelling customer narratives, and differentiated market positioning.
This role requires equal comfort discussing thermal reasoning, semiconductor packaging, and AI architecture with technical experts as it does discussing business impact with executives. You will help answer questions such as:
- Why does this capability matter?
- What engineering problem does it solve?
- How does it change a customer's workflow?
- What becomes possible that was not possible before?
- Why is this approach fundamentally different from traditional simulation or AI alternatives?
You will shape product positioning, messaging, launches, customer storytelling, sales enablement, analyst engagement, and thought leadership. You will help ensure that every major product capability is translated into language that resonates with engineers, technical leaders, executives, investors, and the broader market.
Success in this role means making it dramatically easier for customers to understand, adopt, and champion Vinci.
About You
You are intellectually curious and genuinely enjoy learning complex technical subjects. You do not need to be a physicist or machine learning researcher, but you enjoy the challenge of understanding difficult concepts and communicating them clearly.
You have a talent for finding the connection between technical innovation and customer value. When presented with a new capability, your instinct is to ask not only how it works, but why it matters.
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have experience marketing highly technical products to technical buyers.
- Can quickly build credibility with engineers, researchers, and product teams.
- Are an exceptional writer and communicator.
- Enjoy turning complexity into clarity.
- Have experience creating messaging, positioning, launches, customer stories, or sales enablement for innovative products.
- Are comfortable operating in environments where the market's understanding is still evolving.
- Care deeply about accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Most importantly, you are excited by the challenge of helping the world understand technology that is genuinely new.
Why Work With Us
The best reason to join Vinci is not the market, the technology, or even the mission.
It's the people.
Most careers are shaped by a handful of moments when you find yourself surrounded by individuals who raise your standards, challenge your assumptions, and push you to produce work you did not know you were capable of. We have worked hard to build that kind of environment.
Our team includes physicists, machine learning researchers, simulation experts, software engineers, and product builders who have previously led teams and built technology at some of the world's most respected organizations. We are united by a shared belief that the most interesting problems usually sit at the intersection of disciplines, and that ambitious goals require exceptional teammates.
The result is a culture with unusually high trust, high standards, and high ownership. People are given difficult problems, the freedom to solve them, and colleagues capable of making each solution better. If you are looking for a place where you can learn faster, contribute more, and do the strongest work of your career, you will likely enjoy Vinci.
Why Now
Most careers happen within an existing category. A small number offer the chance to help create one.
Artificial intelligence has already transformed how the world works with language, images, code, and information. Increasingly, attention is turning toward the physical world. Across industry, academia, and the broader technology ecosystem, there is growing recognition that physics, engineering, manufacturing, robotics, and physical systems represent one of the next great frontiers.
Nobody knows exactly how that future will unfold. What is becoming increasingly clear is that a new field is emerging around the intersection of AI, physics, and engineering.
Opportunities to help build a new category from the beginning are rare. Opportunities to do it alongside exceptional people are rarer still.
Growth
We believe exceptional work deserves exceptional rewards. That includes competitive compensation, meaningful equity ownership, and comprehensive benefits. But the most valuable thing we offer is not a line item on a compensation package.
It is growth.
At Vinci, careers tend to expand faster than job titles. As the company grows, new challenges emerge, new responsibilities appear, and new opportunities are created. People who consistently demonstrate judgment, initiative, and excellence are trusted with increasingly important problems and given the freedom to solve them.
You will have the opportunity to learn from world-class experts across physics, machine learning, simulation, software, and product development while contributing meaningfully from day one. The goal is not simply to do great work today, but to become capable of doing work tomorrow that would be impossible for you to do today.
If we succeed, the impact will extend far beyond the products we build. It will be reflected in the people who helped build them.
