Job description

Basic Requirements: • Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph required • Two (2) years of experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required • Bachelor's Degree in advanced math (e.g., Calculus, Linear Algebra or Bayesian statistics), Computer Science or related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required. • Three (3) years of additional machine learning experience on projects with similar machine learning processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Benefits: Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan. Project Description: • The team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. • The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. • These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. Job Description: • Design, create, test, and productize Al/ML algorithms to solve business challenges. • The Al/ML models created should be capable of learning and making predictions as defined by the business logic developed to meet customer requirements. • Proficient in all aspects of model architecture, data pipeline interaction, metrics application, interpretation, and presentation. • Familiarity with foundational concepts of application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance. • Experience training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models based on iterative user and system feedback is required to support designing and creating scalable solutions for optimal performance. • Responsible for leading geographically diverse teams and will often serve as a primary POC for Al-related matters, so must have exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Highly Desired Skills: • Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C++, R) • Jupyter notebooks • PyTorch or TensorFlow • Generative AI use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) • Agent Orchestration, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) • AWS Bedrock Project Description: • The team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. • The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. • These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.
