Job description

ABOUT ARCADE Arcade is a fast-growing company based in San Francisco, helping teams create AI-generated product videos in minutes. Our platform turns product demos, screenshots, and documentation into compelling launch videos automatically, helping software companies announce releases, educate customers, and tell better product stories. We're a small, ambitious team building at the frontier of AI and creative tools. If you love new technology, great storytelling, and shipping quickly, you'll fit right in. WHAT YOU'LL DO ✨ We're looking for a product marketer who can help define how the world understands Arcade—and the AI video category we're creating. You'll partner closely with the CEO, product, design, and engineering to launch new features, develop compelling narratives, and create content that people actually want to read and share. One week you might be developing the messaging for a major product launch. The next, you'll be synthesizing customer conversations into a thought-provoking blog post or helping shape our social strategy around emerging AI trends. This is an unusually hands-on role for someone who loves moving between strategy and execution. You'll write, experiment, publish, analyze, and continuously refine how Arcade shows up in the market. WHO YOU ARE First and foremost, you're an exceptional storyteller. You have strong product intuition, know how to translate technical features into compelling customer value, and have a knack for finding the interesting insight that everyone else missed. You're excited by AI and emerging technology—not just because it's new, but because you genuinely enjoy understanding where the market is headed. You're comfortable operating with ambiguity, moving quickly, and wearing many hats. You don't wait for perfect information; you ship, learn, and iterate. You care deeply about quality, but you also know that consistency beats perfection. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company. - Exceptional writing skills across blogs, product launches, social media, and customer-facing content. - Experience leading product launches from messaging through execution. - Strong ability to synthesize customer interviews, industry trends, and product developments into clear narratives. - Experience developing social media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn. - Highly organized with excellent project management skills. - Comfortable collaborating closely with product, engineering, design, sales, and founders. - Excited to experiment with AI tools as part of your daily workflow. Nice to Have - Experience marketing AI products. - Background in product-led growth or developer tools. - Experience producing webinars, videos, or multimedia content. - Existing audience or demonstrated thought leadership in B2B SaaS or AI. WHY ARCADE MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT FOR YOU - Own product marketing at one of the fastest-moving AI startups. - Work directly with the CEO to shape company positioning, launches, and category strategy. - Help define how software companies communicate products in the age of AI. - Be part of a small, highly collaborative team where your work has immediate impact. - Enjoy a meeting-light culture, rich health and 401(k) benefits, unlimited PTO, remote stipend, and biannual retreats. CONTRACT-TO-HIRE We're initially looking for someone to join us as a contractor (approximately 20–40 hours/week) with the goal of converting to a full-time Product Marketing Lead if it's a great mutual fit. COMPENSATION Competitive hourly or monthly contract rate based on experience, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role including salary and meaningful equity. OUR VALUES ❤️ Be a coach: We want the best for our customers and ourselves. We coach people to help them achieve their best potential. An "Arcader" is both a teammate and a customer. There is a reason that the same word describes both. Carry the weight: We are owners. Let's empower each other. When we see something that needs change, we lead through it. An open book: We are open as a team and as a product. We don't put walls up unless it's necessary. We become better when we share information. We are open to diversity of opinion, backgrounds, and thought. Play as a team: We play because we're a creator tool. Life is short. Let's build something meaningful. We play as a team because great teams build great things together. We keep those standards high. Be kind: We can be honest and kind. We can have high standards and be kind. We can say no and be kind. Kindness can vary across cultures, upbringings, and languages—but we try our best to be kind. Contact: caroline@arcade.software
