Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions to project timelines. Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed contractual constraints. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all data center deployments meet technical and quality standards, including compliance with industry best practices and local regulations. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, and give regular progress reports. Technical Oversight and Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to teams, in collaboration with experts, on best practices for data center design and deployment, including considerations for power, cooling, networking, and physical security. Continual Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance data center operations. Project Oversight: Travel to up to 60% of data center locations to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate with local teams, contractors, and vendors during on-site visits. Flexibility and Adaptability: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% to data center locations to support project execution, sometimes on short notice. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, or similar) are a plus. Preferred: Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) or AI-specific infrastructure.
