Job description

About Us: Spreedly is the Intelligent Payments Platform for businesses that want to own their payments strategy. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Durham, NC, we give merchants, platforms, and fintechs a single API to connect to 150+ payment gateways and 40+ payment methods across 100+ countries, along with the intelligence to decide where every transaction should go. We're vendor-agnostic by design. Our customers choose their providers, keep their payment data portable, and never have to rebuild their stack to adopt something new. Payments are getting more complex, not less. Every new market, payment method, fraud tool, and now every AI agent checking out on a shopper's behalf adds another integration and another decision. Spreedly turns that complexity into an advantage. Our PCI Level 1 vault keeps cards and network tokens portable across providers. Smart routing and retries recover revenue lost to avoidable declines. Fraud and 3DS tools plug in with a single API call. And our payments intelligence turns transaction data into decisions merchants can act on. As agentic commerce moves from experiment to real sales channel, we're building the infrastructure that lets merchants accept agent-initiated payments through the providers they already trust. For the people who work here, that means hard technical problems at real scale, billions of dollars in annual transactions, at a moment when the rules of commerce are being rewritten. If you want ownership and work that shows up directly in your customers' revenue, you'll fit right in. About the Role: Spreedly is building a new go-to-market operations function, and we're hiring a Lead Revenue Operations Analyst to help run it. Revenue Operations is joining Business Operations, and rather than migrate the function as-is, we're pivoting it into a broader GTM Operations pillar — one built to run a predictable, efficient go-to-market operating engine. This is a senior individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities, reporting to the VP of Business Operations and serving as a trusted thought partner to our SVP of Revenue. You will own sales forecasting, pipeline and performance analytics, GTM planning, and sales compensation strategy, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis with broader business context to inform decisions. You will work closely with the GTM Operations Analyst, who will contribute operational context, supporting analysis, and execution, while this role maintains overall accountability for the forecast, quota methodology, and recommendations to Revenue leadership. You will go beyond reporting what happened. You will independently identify what is changing in the business, understand why, and translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations that help Revenue leadership act early — for example, spotting churn risk in the funnel before it becomes lost revenue. This role is designed for someone who wants significant impact through expertise, judgment, analytical rigor, and execution rather than through managing a team. You will operate with significant autonomy, partnering directly with executive and sales leadership to turn analysis into action. Responsibilities: Own the sales forecasting process end-to-end — methodology, pipeline inspection, risk identification, and forecast accuracy — and run the cadence that gives leadership clear, actionable views of existing and new-customer opportunities Serve as a trusted thought partner to the SVP Revenue, proactively surfacing trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions Analyze pipeline health, coverage, conversion, velocity, win/loss trends, and sales productivity to identify actionable insights and assess sales-funnel health and risk Build quantitative models and complex-dataset analyses that support revenue decisions, planning, and scenario evaluation Own the reporting and operating cadence that Revenue leadership uses to review performance, inspect the pipeline, and drive accountability Own revenue operations planning and partner with Revenue and Finance leadership on GTM planning, including quotas, capacity, headcount, targets, and scenario planning Own sales compensation strategy, design, and governance, including quota and incentive modeling, performance analysis, and oversight of commission accuracy, while partnering with the GTM Operations Analyst on day-to-day plan administration and commission processing. Partner with sales, marketing, and executive leaders on go-to-market decisions, including revenue-operations considerations for tools and processes such as CPQ and deal desk Develop pipeline reporting that strengthens the prospect funnel in partnership with marketing, supports reps as they work opportunities through to close, and improves visibility from bookings through revenue conversion Independently drive complex revenue operations work from problem definition through analysis, recommendation, and execution Communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to executive and cross-functional audiences Requirements: 6+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Strategy & Operations, or a related role, within a complex B2B SaaS environment Deep experience in owning sales forecasting and improving forecast quality, rigor, and visibility Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, including building models and analyzing complex datasets in Google Sheets, and translating that analysis into business recommendations Proven ability to partner with senior Revenue leaders, bring an independent point of view, and influence decisions through data and insight Strong understanding of pipeline management, coverage, conversion, velocity, sales productivity, and SaaS GTM metrics Experience with sales compensation, including plan administration, commission processes, quota setting, and compensation analysis Deep experience with Salesforce Experience with GTM planning, including capacity, headcount, quota, target, or scenario planning Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to partner effectively with Finance and FP&A The communication and presentation skills to be a trusted thought partner to senior leaders and convert strategy into clear action Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with significant autonomy and ownership, in a newly formed function without an established playbook Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time Additional Skills We Value: Ironclad or other contract lifecycle management solutions Vasco or similar revenue operations platforms Tableau experience HubSpot experience Fintech domain expertise We Offer Our US-Based Employees: Competitive salary + Equity Outstanding Medical and Dental benefits, including 100% employer-paid option Company-paid Life and Disability insurance Optional vision and supplemental insurance options, and various Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Open Paid Time Off policy + 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents Matching 401(k) plan (5% up to $5,000 yearly) $1,000 annual professional development stipend Monthly home working/digital lifestyle stipend, new MacBook, and one-time accessory reimbursement Access to company-paid professional coaching service Visits to HQ in Durham, North Carolina for remote employees #LI-AE1 Spreedly Product Offering: Spreedly provides an open payments platform. The platform’s connectivity provides payments performance. Key products and services include: Connect — A unified API that integrates with hundreds of payment gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods worldwide, including digital wallets. Merchants access the global payments ecosystem through one connection. Vault — A PCI-compliant secure repository for payment methods. Merchants store card data once and reuse it across any payment service, reducing PCI scope and protecting cardholder data at scale. Optimize — Workflow-driven routing and retry logic that directs each transaction to the best-performing gateway in real time. On average, 7.9% of failed transactions succeed immediately when retried on a secondary gateway. This is where merchants recover lost revenue and increase authorization success rates. Protect — A flexible fraud and authentication layer, incorporating advanced fraud tools and 3DS. Following Spreedly's acquisition of Dodgeball in September 2025, fraud orchestration and payment optimization now operate within the same platform. Resolve — Centralized management and reporting that reduces operational silos, strengthens security, and improves billing control across a merchant's entire payment operation.
