USD $74,997.00 - USD $92,021.00 /Yr. 7.50 - Salaried Non-Management except pharmacists 8 am - 5 pm CT; some after hours expected Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team! The position of Senior Accountant acts as a Lead for certain general accounting functions, and has an emphasis on month-end close activities, intercompany and consolidations, and financial reporting and analysis. This role will also be involved with the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that results are in accordance with GAAP. Is this you? Find out more below! How do I make an impact on my team? • Prepare monthly internal and board financial statements. Run monthly department statements and distribute to department leaders. • Prepare and enter journal entries for various transactions at Navitus business entities related to investments, fixed assets, and accruals. • Review and approve various month-end close entries. • Perform variance analysis of financial data. • Collaborate on all year-end financial audit deliverables. • Collaborate on capital project accounting. • Oversee fixed asset administration. • Assist enterprise accounting team on maintaining chart of accounts for multiple entities including ensuring accounts are mapped to correct financial statement line items and parent general ledger accounts. • Assist with preparation of various state and federal tax filing requirements. • Coordinate and prepare all business insurance renewals requirements. • Assist with forecasting and budgeting. • Assist accounting leadership in the development and preparation of annual finance departmental budget. • Other duties as assigned What our team expects from you? • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. • CPA strongly preferred. • 5 years of Accounting experience required. • 1 year of experience in Public Accounting or 2 years in a Technical Accounting role in a corporate setting required. • Experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle, required. • Experience in the Healthcare industry preferred. • Advanced Excel skills including demonstrated proficiency with VLOOKUP, SUMIF and CONCATENATE formulas as well as pivot tables required. • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees What can you expect from Lumicera? • Top of the industry benefits for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance • 20 days paid time off • 4 weeks paid parental leave • 9 paid holidays • 401K company match of up to 5% - No vesting requirement • Adoption Assistance Program • Flexible Spending Account • Educational Assistance Plan and Professional Membership assistance • Referral Bonus Program – up to $750! #LI-Hybrid 310 Integrity Drive Madison WI 53717 US
