*** Webcam interview**** long term project; initial PO for 1 year with multiyear extensions ***Remote*** Due to security only USC or GC Job Description Senior SQL Database Administrator responsible for administration, development, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, configuration, and performance support of SQL Server database environments throughout the GPO enterprise, including SQL Cluster and standalone SQL databases. Scope • SQL Server database administration and maintenance • SQL Cluster and standalone database support • SQL scripting and database development • Server/database configuration and software installation • Troubleshooting, error triage, and performance monitoring • Capacity planning and system health monitoring • HA/DR, backup and recovery • ServiceNow requests, incidents, RFCs, and SLA support • Idera and SolarWinds monitoring • Database/application integration support • Patching, maintenance, and scheduled after-hours production support Skills • SQL • Microsoft SQL Server • SQL Clustering • SQL Scripting • HA/DR and backup/recovery • Performance tuning and monitoring • One of the following ServiceNow, Idera and SolarWinds • Database troubleshooting and maintenance • Communication and cross-team collaboration Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of corporate experience managing SQL/Oracle DBA teams • Relevant certifications and verified experience across target technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, OCI, etc.) must be provided for evaluation
