Team: Delivery / Engineering · Level: Senior · Location: Remote / Hybrid — City · Reports to: Don Schaefer About the Role Our Client’s Solution Architects are hands-on . This is a 50/50 role : half solution architecture and half hands-on back-end coding. You'll work directly with clients to understand their needs, then get into the code and platform to make it real — configuring, integrating, and building alongside the client. We're specifically looking for someone who can do the work , not just talk about it. If a client needs something configured or built, you should be able to configure and build it yourself. What You'll Do • Partner with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutions . • Spend roughly 50% of your time hands-on in the code , including back-end engineering, configuration, and integration. • Own solution design for client engagements, including architecture, data flows, and integration approaches. • Stay close to the product and implementation to make practical design decisions that work in real-world deployments. • Share implementation learnings with Product and Engineering teams to improve the platform. • Serve as the technical bridge between clients and internal teams . What We're Looking For • Strong hands-on back-end engineering skills — you write and ship code today, not just review it. • Proven solution architecture experience , including designing and delivering client-facing technical solutions. • Ability to work directly with clients, understand their problems, and configure/build the right solution . • Payer experience strongly valued — familiarity with health-plan systems and healthcare data. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to move comfortably between client discussions and hands-on development . • Adaptable, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment . Nice to Have • Experience configuring or extending multi-tenant enterprise platforms . • Prior consulting or professional-services delivery experience , particularly in healthcare.
