Software Engineer
About Vetto
Vetto builds the infrastructure for next-generation AI training data. Our engineers build the internal platform that powers everything — the annotation tools, data pipelines, automation systems, and reusable components that let us scale across multiple AI training domains simultaneously.
If you want to build products that sit at the frontier of AI development, this is the role.
Why Vetto?
Architectural influence from day one. You’ll make real technical decisions, not just implement tickets.
Cutting-edge problem space. Your work directly enables state-of-the-art AI model training.
Experimental culture. We ship fast, learn fast, and iterate.
Small team, big impact. Every line of code you write matters.
What You’ll Do
Create reusable components that work across multiple AI training intents.
Design and implement data pipelines, workflow automations, and quality monitoring systems.
Build and maintain Vetto’s internal annotation and data collection platform.
Collaborate closely with PMs, researcher to ship fast.
Build observability and tooling to track data quality across the entire pipeline.
Prototype and evaluate new tools and frameworks as the team’s needs evolve.
Help define engineering standards and architectural decisions as the team scales.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, system design, clean code).
Full-stack engineering experience across backend and frontend, with comfort working in multiple languages and frameworks — whether that's Python, Node.js or TypeScript/React and similar modern tools on the client side.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
Comfortable in fast-paced, iterative environments where requirements evolve quickly.
Nice to have:
Experience with AI/ML tooling (LLMs, embeddings, evaluation frameworks).
Experience building internal platforms, annotation tools, or data pipelines.
Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Experience at an early-stage startup.
What We Offer
PJ contract with competitive compensation.
Remote-first with flexibility.
Benefits: Wellhub, Meal voucher and Health insurance reimbursement.
Direct impact on the future of AI.
Fast career growth in a founding-team environment.
Exposure to a global environment.
Ongoing position — we’re always looking for great engineers.
This is an ongoing opportunity. We’re always happy to hear from interested engineers, and we’ll reach out if and when there’s a strong match between your profile and our current needs.
