Required Qualifications • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Approximately 5–8 years of experience in systems integration, testing, software, platform engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 years with BS/BA; An Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience testing distributed systems, APIs, services, or enterprise platforms.
• Working understanding of cloud, Kubernetes, networking, identity, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience coordinating integration or test activities across multiple technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, defect-analysis, and technical-documentation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex system interactions and communicate technical findings clearly.
Desired Qualifications • Experience with automated API or integration testing.
• Experience working with Kubernetes-based test environments.
• Experience supporting GEOINT or mission-processing systems.
• Experience conducting testing across classified or multi-domain environments.
• Experience with performance, resilience, or reliability testing.
• Experience with GitLab-based test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking Integration & Test Engineers to plan and execute system-level integration and verification across a complex ecosystem of interconnected platforms, shared services, mission applications, and infrastructure environments.
These engineers will focus on end-to-end system behavior across platform boundaries, validating how services, interfaces, infrastructure, and mission capabilities work together in an integrated environment. The role will span areas including identity, networking, APIs, CI/CD, observability, mission hosting, tenant services, and hybrid infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings strong systems-level troubleshooting skills and can work across multiple engineering disciplines to identify integration issues, coordinate resolution, and provide objective evidence that capabilities are ready for operational use.
ResponsibilitiesIntegration Planning • Develop integration plans for new capabilities, shared services, interfaces, and significant platform or infrastructure changes.
• Define integration objectives, test dependencies, required environments, and clear entry and exit criteria.
• Coordinate integration and test activities across platform, application, infrastructure, security, and mission engineering teams.
• Identify integration risks, dependencies, and potential failure points before changes reach production environments.
• Coordinate test sequencing and environment readiness across multiple technical teams.
System-Level Verification • Plan and execute end-to-end tests validating service interactions across multiple platforms and technical environments.
• Validate APIs, data exchanges, identity flows, networking, CI/CD workflows, observability, and application dependencies.
• Support multi-tenant, mission-processing, and GEOINT workflow testing.
• Perform regression testing following major platform, interface, application, or infrastructure changes.
• Evaluate integrated system behavior against defined requirements, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify integration gaps and coordinate with engineering teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Defect & Evidence Management • Track integration defects, technical issues, and test findings through resolution.
• Reproduce complex failures and coordinate troubleshooting across the engineering teams responsible for affected components.
• Document test procedures, evidence, results, limitations, and residual risks.
• Provide clear technical reporting on integration status, findings, blockers, and readiness.
• Develop or automate repeatable integration and regression tests where practical.
• Coordinate retesting and verification following defect remediation or significant system changes.
Location: This position is fully onsite in Chantilly, VA.
