Alpharun is an applied AI company that helps leading enterprises hire and train their frontline teams. Our platform fully automates candidate assessments and ongoing performance monitoring, enabling companies to build high-performing teams at scale.
As an Applied AI Engineer, you'll join an extremely talented and hard-working engineering team to build best-in-class, AI-first software experiences for enterprise customers. You'll have broad exposure to AI technical and product challenges while contributing to the rapid growth of an early-stage startup. This is a demanding but rewarding role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Why join:
• Team : We're a tight-knit, ambitious team working in-office 5 days a week in San Francisco. We're well-funded by exceptional investors and operators and are scaling quickly. Our founders, Paul and Henry Dornier , are twins and second-time founders that previously sold their first company before leading product, engineering, and marketing teams at Front.
• Rapid growth : We launched in December, and our customers have already used Alpharun to hire and train tens of thousands of employees in 20+ countries.
• Culture : We have an extremely high talent bar and expect a lot from everyone, because exceptional outcomes require exceptional commitment. But we also have a lot of fun — there's nothing more rewarding and fulfilling than building amazing products alongside an awesome team.
This role is intense but immensely rewarding — perfect for someone with ambition, a bias towards action, and who thrives on rapid learning and growth.
We’ll be most excited if you have:
• Experience building AI-first products and driving business outcomes.
• A track record of getting things done in roles with high levels of ambiguity and accountability.
• Extreme ambition and high expectations of yourself and the team you work with.
If you don’t perfectly meet every qualification but resonate deeply with our mission and ethos, we strongly encourage you to apply — we value aptitude and ambition above all.
We offer competitive compensation and meaningful equity. We believe every early team member will be a major contributor to our company’s long term success, and our equity compensation is designed to recognize this.
