Job description

The Trade Desk is a global technology company and the world’s leading independent platform for digital advertising, with over 3,000 employees across more than 30 offices. Our technology helps advertisers reach the right audiences across the open internet — from streaming TV and podcasts to mobile apps, news, and more. Advertising powers the content people love. By making it more transparent, effective, and responsible, we help support trusted journalism, quality entertainment, and creators worldwide. The world’s brands and agencies rely on us to reach their customers and grow their businesses responsibly. The scale of our platform brings unique technical challenges — from processing massive datasets in real time to building systems that operate reliably on a global scale. When you work here, your impact is worldwide. We welcome diverse perspectives, encourage curiosity, and build teams that learn from one another. If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you. What we do Our Strategic Accounts team has created a Senior Director role based in Bellevue to support one of The Trade Desk's most strategic global relationships: a leading global travel client. You will form part of a high-performance team, collaborating closely across UK/EMEA and US markets and time zones to represent this established piece of business. We are looking for a commercially savvy, senior sales individual to grow and nurture this long-term partnership. You will need a proven record of accomplishment in delivering results, building relationships, and collaborating in and with other teams. What you'll do Be part of the team servicing one of TTD's most strategic global accounts, ensuring aligned, consistent coverage across markets and time zones. Contribute to the construction and delivery of a multi-year partnership roadmap, aligning TTD's product, platform, and data investments with the client's long-term commercial and marketing strategy. Own and expand senior relationships (CMO and VP-level leaders) across the account, deepening executive sponsorship and broadening TTD's footprint across regions, business units, and functions. Identify and develop new pockets of opportunity within the existing relationship, such as incremental investment, new product adoption, or new markets, in service of long-term account growth. Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with global and regional Sales, Client Services, Trading, Product, and Data/Partnerships teams to deliver against the roadmap. Bring credible, up-to-date knowledge of the travel vertical to shape strategy and build trust with senior client stakeholders. Represent TTD in senior, cross-regional forums, including QBRs and roadmap reviews, comfortably operating across UK/EMEA and US time zones. Represent TTD on a global and regional stage. Who you are A proven track record leading strategic, long-term partnerships with major global brands; experience within the travel vertical is highly valued. Experience in retail media networks or data monetisation is a strong plus. A track record of building and executing multi-year partnership or account roadmaps, rather than short sales cycles. Demonstrated success growing the depth and breadth of relationships within an established account – expanding executive sponsorship, cross-functional reach, and share of wallet. Comfortable operating across time zones and travelling as a member of a globally distributed team, with flexibility to work across UK and US time zones as needed. Existing relationships with senior decision-makers at major advertisers and/or their agencies. Strong executive presence and consultative approach, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. Experience at a DSP, SEM platform, online publisher, or other adtech/media company. Strong quantitative and negotiation skills, able to lead commercial discussions for large global accounts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable representing TTD with senior clients and in internal leadership forums.
