Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume inventory environment is a significant plus. • ERP Mastery: Proficiency in SAP or a similar Tier-1 ERP system. Candidate must understand how sub-ledgers (AP/AR/Inventory) feed into the General Ledger. • Excel "Power User": Must be comfortable managing large datasets. • Required: Advanced use of Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP. • Preferred: Experience with Power Query or building complex data-reconciliation templates. • Analytical Rigor: Demonstrated ability to perform Variance Analysis—not just identifying that a number changed but researching why it changed. • Operational Mindset: Ability to collaborate with non-finance partners (like Production or Warehouse managers) to gather data and resolve discrepancies. • Deadline Driven: Proven track record of meeting strict "Day 3" or "Day 5" month-end close deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
