Vice President, Product Marketing at Seismic

Job description

Seismic is the Go-to-Market Performance company, helping organizations turn strategy into revenue. Following our combination with Highspot, we bring together two category-leading platforms and deep innovation across enablement, content, AI, buyer engagement, learning, coaching, analytics, and revenue execution. We are looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing to define how this expanded portfolio comes together in the market — and help shape where it goes next. This leader will own Seismic’s product and platform narrative, positioning, messaging, launches, competitive strategy, market prioritization, pricing, packaging, and industry product marketing. Working across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Strategy, they will turn a broad and rapidly evolving portfolio into a simple, differentiated story customers understand and our field can win with. A critical part of the mandate is extending Seismic’s leadership in regulated industries, where trusted content, governance, compliance, security, data controls, and responsible AI aren't secondary requirements — they're fundamental to how customers operate. • 15+ years of B2B enterprise technology experience, including significant product marketing leadership. • Experience leading product marketing for a scaled enterprise software, SaaS, AI, CRM, revenue technology, content, workflow, or adjacent platform company. • Demonstrated ability to turn complex, multi-product technology into a simple, differentiated platform story. • Strong understanding of enterprise AI, including agents, generative AI, data, context, governance, and workflow automation. • Experience integrating or repositioning products following an acquisition, merger, or major portfolio expansion is beneficial. • Ability to operate credibly with Product and Engineering while creating narratives that resonate with CEOs, CROs, CMOs, CIOs, and frontline GTM leaders. • Experience building and leading high-performing global product marketing teams. The strongest candidates will have substantial experience in financial services and/or healthcare and life sciences, ideally across multiple regulated sectors. They will understand how governance, approvals, permissions, auditability, security, data lineage, compliance, and risk management shape product requirements, buying processes, deployment models, and AI adoption. Candidates should be equally comfortable discussing AI agents and product architecture with a technology leader, revenue outcomes with a GTM executive, and governance and risk with the stakeholders responsible for protecting the enterprise. Define the Product and Platform Story • Establish the positioning, messaging, and value proposition for Seismic's combined portfolio, bringing together the strongest capabilities and innovation from Seismic and Highspot. • Translate a growing portfolio of AI agents, content and knowledge management, enablement, engagement, learning, coaching, analytics, and workflows into a compelling, performance-driven platform narrative. • Make GTM Performance and AI-powered revenue execution tangible: articulate the problems Seismic solves, our differentiation, and the business outcomes customers should expect. • Partner with Product to connect strategy and roadmap to customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunity. • Lead product architecture, naming, packaging, and pricing programs that make Seismic easier to understand and buy while improving customer value and long-term economics. Lead Product Marketing • Build and lead a world-class global product marketing organization spanning platform, products, AI, solutions, competitive intelligence, and industries. • Own go-to-market strategy and execution for major product launches and releases. • Equip the field with differentiated messaging, sales plays, proof points, demos, and competitive intelligence that translate product capabilities into customer value. • Establish rigorous competitive intelligence across direct competitors, adjacent platforms, emerging AI companies, and evolving build-versus-buy alternatives. • Bring market and customer insight into Product, influencing priorities and investment decisions — not simply marketing what has already been built. • Partner across Marketing to turn product innovation into sustained market impact. Make Regulated Industries a Strategic Advantage Seismic has a significant opportunity to differentiate through the combination of AI innovation and enterprise trust. This leader will make regulated-industry expertise central to that strategy. • Develop deep understanding of the workflows, buyers, regulatory environments, data requirements, governance models, and risk considerations unique to regulated markets. • Translate permissions, governance, auditability, security, compliant personalization, and responsible AI into differentiated customer value. • Partner with Product and industry leaders to identify requirements and investments that make Seismic uniquely valuable in regulated environments. • Ensure our AI strategy answers the questions sophisticated enterprises increasingly ask: Can I trust it? Govern it? Explain it? Control the data it uses? Deploy it within the requirements of my industry? • Build differentiated industry narratives without fragmenting Seismic into a collection of vertical products.
