Maintain short-term cash flow forecasts and help leadership understand the company's cash position, expected inflows, and upcoming obligations. Oversee day-to-day financial operations in collaboration with our contract bookkeeper, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and bank reconciliations. Manage payment operations and support, investigating payment issues, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems. Oversee AR and AP alongside our bookkeeper. Maintain accurate financial records and processes, partnering with external accountants and other advisors on accounting questions, year-end close, and tax-related requests. Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial workflows, helping make our accounting, invoicing, reporting, and payment processes more accurate, efficient, and scalable. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses to help leadership understand business performance, revenue trends, and operational financial metrics. Support company leadership and other teams on finance-related projects and initiatives as needed. A great candidate has/is… 4+ years of experience in accounting or a hands-on financial operations role, ideally at a technology company or other fast-growing business.
