As a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and integrator, we support some of the world’s most iconic brands in their transition to automation. We’re proud to design technology that doesn’t just redefine intralogistics, it also makes warehouses safer, faster, more efficient, and less physically demanding for the people working inside them. Why this role matters: Our Software Integration team serves as a critical link between Exotec's technology and our customers' success. In this highly customer-facing role, you'll work directly with customers throughout the deployment lifecycle, helping them integrate Exotec's automation platform into their warehouse operations while ensuring a seamless experience from project kickoff through go-live and beyond. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor, translating customer needs into effective software solutions, leading technical discussions, troubleshooting challenges, and collaborating across software, engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on how customers leverage cutting-edge robotics and automation to transform their business. Responsibilities • Develop, configure, and support software integrations between Exotec products and customer software environments, including WMS, WCS, ERP, and other operational systems. • Partner directly with customers to understand their business processes, operational requirements, and technical objectives, ensuring successful integration of Exotec solutions. • Lead customer-facing technical discussions, workshops, integration reviews, and problem-solving sessions throughout the project lifecycle. • Analyze customer requirements and contribute to the design of scalable integration solutions that align with operational goals and best practices. • Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot APIs, interfaces, data flows, and middleware components supporting warehouse automation deployments. • Support integration testing, system validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live activities, and hypercare support to ensure successful customer adoption. • Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and communicating solutions effectively. • Collaborate closely with software engineering, hardware, systems, commissioning, project management, operations, and customer teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end solution. • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues spanning software, databases, APIs, messaging systems, and warehouse automation environments. • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and customer-facing implementation materials. • Support the transition of new features, integrations, and enhancements to customer support and operational teams. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience, software quality, deployment processes, and engineering standards. • Provide on-site support during critical project phases, customer workshops, testing events, and system go-lives across North America. • Demonstrate Exotec's values and contribute positively to our collaborative, customer-centric culture. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all genders to help us build a truly inclusive environment. If you don’t meet every requirement listed below, don’t worry—your skills and experiences may still make you a great fit! • 1-4 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, application support, automation, or a related technical discipline. • Experience developing or supporting software applications using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, REST APIs, or similar modern software development tools. • Understanding of software integration concepts, including APIs, data flows, messaging, middleware, databases, or system-to-system communication. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to customers and internal teams. • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or end users in a technical environment is highly preferred. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to lead technical discussions, gather requirements, manage expectations, and build trust with customers throughout project delivery. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. • Exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), warehouse execution systems (WES), logistics, fulfillment, industrial automation, robotics, or material handling systems is highly desirable. If not, a willingness to learn warehouse automation technologies, software integration practices, and customer deployment processes. • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), or enterprise integrations is considered a plus. • Comfortable working in dynamic customer environments and balancing technical execution with customer satisfaction. • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout North America to support customer deployments, testing, and go-live activities • Competitive compensation package, inclusive of annual performance bonus • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage • Generous vacation and time off policy • 401(k) with company match up to 5% • Continuous opportunities for training and development in a rapidly growing, international company • Beautiful, newly renovated office space in midtown Atlanta To apply, please submit your resume.
