Overview As a Junior Accountant, you will be essential in managing day-to-day accounting operations across diverse legal entities. Your work will help ensure accurate financial data, support compliance, and underpin the company’s ambitious expansion. What You’ll Do • Process sales and purchase invoices, manage bank transactions, and reconcile accounts across multiple entities • Execute monthly closing activities, prepare consolidations, and post journal entries • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records • Coordinate VAT reclaims, support statutory reporting, and liaise with external auditors and advisors • Manage intercompany transactions, including cash-in-transit and interest calculations • Maintain and update fixed asset registers and employee expense reports Must-Have Skills & Qualifications • Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate effectively across European teams • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field • At least 5 years of relevant multi-entity or international accounting experience • Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP; IFRS preferred • Experience with ERP systems and financial tools • High attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment Nice-to-Have • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and consolidations • Knowledge of VAT and statutory compliance across European jurisdictions
