ROLE SNAPSHOT Pay: $31.00 to $39.00 per hour Location/Schedule: Onsite at 125 SW 3rd Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33991 · Full-time · US Eastern business hours Department: IT Infrastructure & Security Reports to: Manager, IT Infrastructure & Business Continuity Purpose: Help employees stay productive while keeping office operations, equipment and everyday support requests organized. ABOUT THE ROLE About half your work will be IT support: answering tickets, preparing laptops, helping employees with accounts and troubleshooting everyday problems. The other half will be office support: shipping equipment, receiving deliveries, tracking inventory and keeping shared spaces and equipment working. Most employees work remotely, so getting equipment prepared correctly and delivered on time matters. You’ll also pick up open tickets from the overnight support team each morning and work with a small infrastructure team on escalations. This is an entry-level role. No prior professional IT experience or college degree is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own the daytime helpdesk queue, pick up overnight handovers, keep employees informed and resolve or escalate requests within response targets. Prepare new-hire accounts, licenses, laptops and access; handle departures, equipment recovery and instructed data preservation. Troubleshoot Windows laptops, Microsoft 365, printers, docks, monitors, audio and basic connectivity. Prepare and enroll devices using Microsoft Intune / Autopilot and a remote-management platform, with training provided. Verify identity before account changes, follow access procedures, protect confidential information and escalate suspicious messages or calls. Track equipment inventory, prepare shipments, monitor deliveries and process returns from remote employees. Coordinate supplies, vendors and building services; keep meeting rooms and shared equipment working; assist with directed onsite infrastructure tasks. Document every ticket and turn recurring problems into short, useful how-to articles. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS A genuine interest in technology and helping people use it. Confidence using Windows and Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive, as an everyday user. Willingness to learn quickly and ask for guidance when unsure. Clear, friendly written and spoken English, including the ability to explain a fix to a nontechnical person. Reliable organization and follow-through on requests, equipment and outstanding tasks. Ability to work onsite during business hours and lift and move equipment weighing approximately 40 lb (18 kg). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Helpdesk, IT support or customer-facing experience, including internships, school IT or retail technology work. Exposure to Active Directory, Entra ID or a ticketing system. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune / Autopilot or another device-management tool. Basic macOS or mobile-device support. An entry-level certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals. Experience shipping and tracking equipment for remote employees. Interest in developing toward systems administration. WHAT WE OFFER An entry point into IT without requiring a degree or previous professional IT experience. Daily training and supervision as you learn. Hands-on experience inside a small infrastructure team. Training on the tools used in the role. A path toward systems administration for people who demonstrate interest and growth. HONEST CHALLENGE This role combines technology support with practical office work. You’ll switch between helping a frustrated employee, preparing a shipment, following up on a ticket and keeping equipment records accurate. Success means staying calm, documenting your work and closing the loop—even on small requests. When a request involves identity, access or confidential information, you must follow the process and ask when unsure. The pay range for this position is $31.00 to $39.00 per hour. Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) experience, including industry or specific experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and/or other applicable laws.
