Job description
More money for YouTube creators! We build fan funding features to let viewers support their favorite creators. Many of the features we build help connect viewers with creators, and we’re building even more. We are introducing new interactions and features to both our new product, Gifts, and our existing flagship Super Chat product. We're looking for talented individuals to join our team and help us make these products a success. We are seeking a Tech Lead to scale the PDG Live Interactivity team through mentorship and strategy while influencing partner teams. Our full-stack team focuses on building new user interactions. We need a software engineer with frontend experience who can also handle client-server interactions, metrics instrumentation, experiment analysis, data modeling, and architectural decisions to ensure velocity.
Do you like building features whose metrics are directly tied to business? Do you want to work on a team directly responsible for over $100M ARR? Do you like your features seen on record breaking concurrent viewership streams (5M+ CCV)? Do you like providing product opinion and help setting technical direction? This is the team for you!
At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
