Job description

Company Pace is the AI operations partner for the world's leading insurers. We combine the speed of AI agents with expert review by our insurance operations team to automate insurance tasks. Almost $400bn per year is spent on outsourcing in financial services every year. We're here to change that, working side-by-side with some of the largest companies in the world. Role We're looking for a Marketing Engineer to build new ways for Pace to create pipeline. You'll work across paid acquisition, AEO and SEO, GTM engineering, direct mail, website experiments, and lightweight marketing operations. You’ll identify promising experiments to run, and rapidly test and iterate them. What this looks like in practice: - Build new pipeline motions: Launch and test programs across paid, AEO and SEO, outbound, direct mail, account-based campaigns, and other emerging channels. - Engineer the GTM workflow: Use tools like Clay, or build your own tools with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and APIs, to automate research, segmentation, enrichment, personalization, routing, and follow-up. - Turn the website into a growth surface: Partner with brand, product marketing, and engineering to build landing pages, conversion paths, interactive tools, and experiments that generate qualified demand. - Find leverage in data: Connect signals across our GTM stack, identify high-intent accounts, and give sales better context on who to contact, why now, and with what message. - Run disciplined experiments: Write clear hypotheses, ship quickly, define success upfront, and use results to decide what to scale, change, or stop. - Create reusable infrastructure: Turn successful experiments into durable playbooks, automations, and tools the broader GTM team can operate. You're a great fit if you: - Have taken at least one growth motion from zero to one and can explain what you tried, what failed, what worked, and how it affected the business. - Have hands-on experience across some combination of paid growth, organic acquisition, SEO or AEO, lifecycle, ABM, GTM engineering, or marketing operations. - Are technically curious and comfortable working with modern GTM tools, APIs, data, and AI-assisted development. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be technically-curious. - Understand that enterprise growth is about quality, timing, and account context, not optimizing for lead volume. Bonus: - Experience driving growth for enterprise software, AI, fintech, insurance, or another product with a complex sales cycle. - Comfort with tools like Clay, Cursor, Claude Code, and / or Codex. Team characteristics The Pace team has a couple of defining characteristics: 1. Integrity: The most important thing is working with good people who want to have a massive impact on the world. Our team genuinely wants to do the best work of their careers and know it’ll take 5-10 years of focus to deliver. 2. Ambition: The ambition for this company is not just a good vertical AI business but a $100bn+ outcome across vertical services. We’re looking for people that rise that level of ambition. Often times this means they want to be the best at what they do, become leaders at scale or one day start their own company. Pace will be the best place to learn, deliver impact and advance your path to do something great. At Pace, we're building a talent-dense team where teammates grow into leaders. This might mean growing into a world-class IC, owning a line of business, or leading teams. Whichever your path, we want to support you to grow at Pace and beyond for the long-term. We're a <40 person team based in-person across New York and London and are lucky to be perfectly positioned with leading customers and top investors to make a real impact on one of the largest industries in the world.
