Job description
Job Title: Account Executive (Physical Therapy)
Company Overview:
Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. As the fastest-growing company in the space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking to bring on an experienced Account Executive as we accelerate our current exponential growth to the next level. If you are a driven and results-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare EHR sales, particularly within the physical therapy and outpatient rehab market, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Why work for Prompt?
- BIG Challenges: Here at Prompt, we are solving complex and unique problems that have plagued the healthcare industry since the dawn of time.
- Talented People: Prompt didn't happen by chance, it's a team of incredibly talented and proven individuals who all made their mark before joining forces to build the greatest software on the planet for rehab therapists.
- Healthy Approach: This isn't an investment bank, we work long hours when it's needed, but at Prompt you own your workload and the entire organization takes a liking to smart work (over hard work).
- Positive Impact: Prompt helps outpatient rehab organizations treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste. That means less surgery and less narcotic-based pain treatment, all while turning a paper-heavy industry digital. We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back everyday, but it does feel good :)
The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our healthcare clients, particularly physical therapy and outpatient rehab practices, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth for our EHR software products. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and development teams to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our sales targets.

- Build and manage relationships with key healthcare accounts, including physical therapy and outpatient rehab clinics and practices, and develop a deep understanding of their EHR and operational needs.
- Identify new sales opportunities through market research and client interactions.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and development teams to create and deliver compelling EHR product demonstrations and proposals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to the sales management team on sales pipeline and revenue projections.
- Self-generate pipeline via outbound efforts while also managing inbound leads.
- Ensure timely delivery of our EHR software products and services to customers.
- Attend healthcare and outpatient rehab industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and the competitive landscape.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with a focus on healthcare technology, EHR/EMR, or software solutions serving physical therapy and outpatient rehab organizations.
- Demonstrated experience selling software to or working directly with physical therapy or outpatient rehab practices is highly preferred.
- Bonus experience includes: currently or formerly working as a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, or experience working within the operations, billing, revenue cycle, or administrative functions of a physical therapy or outpatient rehab practice.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service in the healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare clients at all levels.
- Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to occasional conferences throughout the year.
