Job description

Be Alpaca's marketing boots on the ground in every market we grow into. You turn a brand new city into a place families already know our name. 📌 About Alpaca Health Alpaca Health helps clinicians become entrepreneurs, starting in autism care. We give BCBAs the software, payer contracting, and back-office muscle to launch and scale their own practices, so power in healthcare shifts back to the people actually giving the care. We have raised over $14M from investors like Core Innovation Capital, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons. We serve hundreds of families and are growing 30% month over month. We also move fast. Last week, we threw a festival for 600 people, planned in under two weeks, with real alpacas on site. That is the energy around here. If that sounds like your kind of chaos, keep reading. 🎯 The Role We are hiring a Field Marketing Associate to drive local awareness and referrals in every market we operate in, especially the new states we are opening this year. You take our brand and make it land locally: partnerships, sponsorships, grassroots presence, local press, and the campaigns that help a brand new clinic fill its schedule. You will work hand-in-hand with our field team (physician liaisons and referral partnership managers), giving them the campaigns and collateral that make their job easier and our name impossible to miss. This is a role for someone who is happiest out in the world, close to real families and real clinics, and who has the creativity to make a small budget feel huge. Think a Main Street takeover, a sponsored sensory-friendly day at the local children's museum, a partnership with every pediatrician in town. You dream it up, then you go make it happen. 🚧 What You'll Do Own the market - Localize the brand and our campaigns city by city so they feel native, not corporate - Build and run the marketing plan behind every clinic opening and new-state launch Build local presence - Land partnerships, sponsorships, and community moments that put Alpaca in front of the right families - Pitch and win local press, and build real relationships with local reporters and organizations Arm the field team - Give physician liaisons and referral partnership managers the collateral, campaigns, and playbooks they need to convert - Be the marketing brain behind the people knocking on doors, and make their outreach land harder Make it repeatable - Turn what works in one market into a launch kit the next market can run on day one - Track local leads and referrals and prove, market by market, what is actually working 🌟 What Success Looks Like - In 90 days: You have run the marketing for at least one clinic or market launch, built the local launch kit, and embedded yourself with the field team so they rely on you. - In a year: You have a repeatable market-launch playbook, measurable referral lift in the markets you have touched, and several new markets that launched faster because of the system you built. 🧠 Who You Are - You are a self-starter who thrives with autonomy, often as the only marketer in the region, and you do not need someone looking over your shoulder. - You have taste and creativity. Your local campaigns feel fresh and human, never like corporate wallpaper. - You are full of scrappy, bold ideas and pragmatic enough to pull them off on a small budget. - You build relationships fast and make people want to work with you, from a clinic owner to a local reporter. - You are as comfortable in a car between drop-ins as you are building a plan in a spreadsheet. - You are willing to travel and be where the action is. - You care about the mission and can talk about autism care with warmth and credibility. Bonus Points: - You have owned a market or region before and can point to what you grew - Experience in healthcare, multi-location, or local services marketing - A network or instincts for local partnerships and earned media 🚀 Why Join - Direct exposure to company building at an early stage - Real ownership of your markets from day one - The chance to materially change life for families and clinicians - A learning curve few roles can match Compensation & Benefits: - 💵 Competitive salary - 📈 Meaningful equity - 🏥 Health benefits - 🏖️ Flexible PTO - 🍱 Dinner when working late
